I spent years thinking about moving to NYC, then I grew out of it because I have a pretty good life where I live right now. And then you came with these videos and now I want to move out of a duplex house with a pool and tons of space to a micro apartment that costs twice as much per month. You monster.
2 things: 1. I forgot how much I miss watching you go downstairs, lol 2. Your videos are the reason why I went out & bought a towel ring for my 1/2 bathroom at my place. True story.
This Harlem apartment is FIRE, Cash! Award winning restaurants right out the door, the Apollo and shopping (we all shop at Old Navy, don't stress it) plus in unit laundry- all under $2400/month! AMAZING!
Dog love, $2300 is $27,600 a year for RENT. I do wonder what sorts of salaries people have to earn to play close to $30,000 a year in rent. This apartment is actually one of the few extremely nice places Cash has shown, it's new, bright and roomy, the washer/dryer is a HUGE plus. But most of these rents are outrageous and no, I'm not some naive flyover who is *shocked* by NYC rents. I'm one of the lucky people who bought low in a NYC neighborhood before it gentrified and rents became prohibitive. Sadly, my neighborhood has become unaffordable for the people who grew up there, this seems to be the case with many NYC neighborhoods, not just Manhattan. There are now co-ops/condos in my neighborhood starting @ 1-2 million+!! Lots of people must 'need' those Manhattan skyline views, they are sure paying dearly for them.
@@VladDImpala My current place would be atleast 4x the rent if I lived in the biggest city in my country. People are willing to pay as long as they can survive to get that big city feeling. As long as there is a big demand the prices will just go up.
@@VladDImpala I have owned for 25 years and now prefer renting. I like to live in the heart of the city and walk to work or restaurants...some people prefer that.
This is the best affordable apartment to be featured here this year so far. In fact, it's nicer than most of the more expensive apartments, too. Everything is new and stylish. This is perfect for one person or two people or a family up to four with two boys or two girls. The neighborhood is nice. If people don't load up on junk, they could live very happily in this space.
My God, this is one of the few that tick off ALL the boxes!!! This is a great place!! So much light, huge closets, sink sprayer AND medicine cabinet. This place is magic! The ONLY thing that could be added that would make it my dream place is floor to ceiling windows!
I'm on the other side of the ocean in Europe, but these videos make me want to live in New York so bad!! Granted, this is one of the gems, a lot of the time I find myself with my jaw on the ground with all the "quirks" in the old buildings 😂. But I absolutely love the glimpses we get into the different neighborhoods and all the cool cafés, shops, and restaurants. Thank you for sharing!!
Wow! great place. Usually I say I want a two bedroom just to use one as a closet, but with these closets, there's enough space for all my clothes AND I can save money by having a roommate. Bathroom was one of the best I have seen!
Cash started before I got my coffee. Love this apartment. Yes, a washer and dryer, I would definitely rent this apartment. Appreciate Cash’s hard work!! Happy Thursday.
I most definitely would pick the 2nd apartment I think it would be perfect for 2 people. That way you could have the master a guest bedroom a library or in office. All connected to that wonderful outside space. Love the videos cash
Ok - you have definitely found THE perfect appt! Modern, new, large spaces, proper kitchen, large closets, a bath and a sink sprayer and a medicine cabinet all at a great price! I don't think you can top this one 😊😊💖
Another Great video tour. I would definitely live in the apt alone. Could do many things with the 2nd bedroom. In unit washer/dryer, modern kitchen. I have no complaints.
Taking refuge under the Apollo Theater awning...not a bad thing at all. So much music history happened there! Another fantastic vid (and apt.), Cash. Thanks!
Title: "Finally a brand new affordable apartment". Me: "Finally my daily fix of apartment videos." How would I get through my day without a video from Cash?
Diggin that poster placement..glad to see it survived the move to your new office. I know it was one of like 2 things you said if damaged you would loose your mind :)
Curious, do you film multiple of the videos in one day, then edit them later so that you only have to go out once or twice a week? Or are you going out every single morning because that is insane. You are fantastic and a beast! Thank you for all that you do Cash!
I love this apartment, Cashew! It's the first one that has more than ample hanging space for my ball gowns! So bright and roomy. You've candied up your background music, also. It's got a techno-Archies flavor to it (not in a bad way). This one's a winner!
Uhhh this is just sooo cool!!! I hope one day if I actually can make the move to NYC Cash will help me to find my dream apartment 😍 awesome video as usual Cash!❤️
Now you know I generally complain about my glass knees with stairs, BUT, having Popeye's and Krispy Kreme that close I'm going to need those stairs! 🤣 Love this apartment.
Very nice! Good kitchen, living room, tub looks cozy. Never moving to NY, but this is one of the best apts so far. I really enjoy your vids. I'm in the PNW, so these come out around 7am. Good breakfast video, and you remembered the shrine.
Really nice use of space, rent not horrible. Cabinets/counter space/island not tacky looking. With all that light, maybe instant decor with loads of plants? A dishwasher AND washer/dryer---totally awesome. And a Krispy Kreme!!!----maybe not a coincidence that there is a Lane Bryant store nearby, too? Damn good thing there are stairs to burn up some calories ....
Yes Jordan yes! This is what I'm taking about. This apartment is great. Not to mention that it's located in a busy comercial area? And not have any loud street noise? This video gets a thumbs up from me. Let's see more decent apartments like this.
Gosh Im getting tired just watching you hoof it up and down subway stairs as well as those in the apartment building. Time to get off the couch and take a stroll on the beach.😎 Super apartment!
That's a beautiful apartment, completely renovated and in a really nice neighbourhood with lots of shops and restaurants. I like the fact that the bathroom has a window, for me this is a big plus since I've always felt claustrophobic in a windowless bathroom. This place is probably going to go fast. You're tempting everybody here to move to NYC! Nice video like always Cash!
Woo hoo! Finally, a place to actually put an upright vacuum and a Swifter! Be still my heart. Closet is great and under bed storage good for seasonal wardrobe. There's a real kitchen not a wannabe kitchen. The only problem is you need to be under 45 to rent it because street view appears to make it a 4th floor walk-up. Rent it!
I lived 4 blocks from there and BY FAR Central Harlem is an AMAZING neighborhood. I miss it! 😢 Everything is so lit and walkable. You cannot be bored living there. There's something for everyone! And the Whole Foods is 2 blocks away from there.
I love this place, spacious enough that having a roommate won't be too cramped and crawling over one another, and for 1175$ a person? PLUS what looks like a great neighborhood a few blocks from public transit? holy crap. Makes me wanna move to NYC even sooner
