I got a new hair straightener and I’m quite excited to try it out. It’s the newest and latest from T3, the T3 Micro Lucea ID. On the box it says “smart straightening and styling iron” which indicates being a smart straightener right? But is it really a smart straightener or is it just fancy wording, well that’s what I want to find out.
In this video I’ll be testing out the T3 Micro Lucea ID to see how it functions and performs, but more specifically how smart this straightening device is. As well as how it compares to other straighteners already out there, and if it’s worth it.

I love ❤️ the vid your hair is beautiful ☺️ but I like the technology of the T3 with the built in ion generator which in the long run will help hair and keep it looking great 😊 for along time and possibly keep it healthier. So maybe it just us a better buy.

I saw in the description box that you recommend the ghd platinum+ over this one - how long have you had your ghd? I saw your tutorial with it and your hair looked gorgeous, but I’m also scared of the reviews that say it breaks around the 2 year mark 😐

Hey Stephanie. I haven't heard of the 2 year mark thing before. I've had mine for a long time, but not quite the 2 year mark yet. I just checked the warranty and its good for 3 years, so I'm not really worried. In my opinion, once you reach a certain price point like $200 for example, I feel like there's not a big difference between performance. The rest I base it off ease-of-use, convenience, and aesthetics, and so far the GHD Platinum+ really won me over. If you liked the other straighteners and also their features, I don't think you'll be disappointed with those either.

What would you say is the least damaging straightener that you have ever used or know of ??!? I want to straighten my hair pretty often but without damage.

Any straightener will damage the hair unless you buy the one with temperature control and you need to used heat protection. You also need to find a Ceramic straightener that won't be damaged as a titanium hair straightener.

What about the original T3 Lucea which is less expensive? Do u think they have the same performance?

I’m quite certain it is. They have very similar features except for the smart id.

Yea their version of smart is just it choosing the right temp for your hair based on you giving them the info. So yes is not that kind of smart. I dont have this but i have the curl ID which i love but more so because of iron quality itself not the smart component as they say

I have the GHD PLATINUM PLUS it’s not a one pass through straightener and I have thick hair also it doesn’t add shine

That is one expensive flat iron, for the price, it should have left your hair pin straight. I have the 1.5 single pass and love it, but I have very fine here and I got it on sale for Black Friday

Read before u tried to use it. Its user friendly. And most of all, you just need to read within 3minutes. Unless brain doesnt work that fast.. lol @herliekim

@@herliekim i did.. you made it work but u said its not user friendly and it takes time to read the manual. The manual is sjmple. Its thick because its on different language. Not that its thick because its one language with 100 pages

@@jcbee7996 as compared to the usual up and down button of most hair tools, i would say it is more complicated and having to double tap the power button to lock the settings is a hassle. I still stand by my opinion. At the end of the day, it is my opinion I’m expending. I’m glad it works well for you.
