I’d try to jump them to your parking lights circuit. Parking lights come on with fogs by default. Plus that means they would auto come on at night, and stay on with high beams. No need for a extra button either.
Mark Brenner I got the Boost Autoparts kit to get my fog lights to turn on at night in the auto setting, and that’s all they do. I’m making a video that will tell you what wire to tap into for the control module.
Vehicle manufactures never cease to amaze me. They're selling $30,000 and $40,000 cars and trucks and they can't afford to install a $100 set of fog lights in their base trim models. Regarding your bowtie, why don't you quit screwing with the color. Go to the dealer and buy either a lite gold or black bowtie. They look bad at night.
@@MarkBrenner is it boost auto parts the one who sells all the all the t taps for the trucks to wire the cargo light to reverse light then the 6 on light mods for factory fog lights even the turn the signals on the mirrors to keep them all on there’s plenty of videos on RU-vid

Just found your channel and subscribed. Two weeks ago today bought new 2020 RST Black with Z71 and Blackout package. Fog lights came with the truck and wish I could turn them on like you fixed yours. The bad part is you have to go back to the dealership to re-program your trucks computer! Or they will not work. It’s a 2 1/2 hr reprogram. That’s what I had to do. Good luck
Nice truck. I have a 2019 custom trail boss. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with the front bow tie. That’s what killed the front of the new Silverado for me. Yeah my truck is a lower model but I love the fact I can change the color of the lettering in the front to match the tow hooks. It really stands out and I’ve got so many compliments. I think yours would look better too with it saying “Silverado” in the front instead of the bow tie. Just saying.
Mark Brenner keep the customizations coming as I too am customizing my truck as much as I can with my budget. Currently installing dual 32” light bars inside grille. I’ll tell you it’s a mission making your own brackets.
Hooking your fog lights to high beam, you might want to check your local laws. I believe the fog lights can only be on with low beams. Not positive but might save you a ticket
