It looks awesome so far! Are you going to have any external or garden hose spigots? Also I’ve seen where other farms have a retractable hose related pressure washer in thier garages for washing off their equipment, never paid attention to if they had a drain in their garage as well… just a thought as you grow!

Yes we will have spigots in a few places outside. As for the hose reel, probably not in this garage and no drain either because it would have to run to the septic. We don’t plan to park anything but vehicles in the house garage. When we build a shop, that will be a bit different for farm stuff.

Just my silly thought. Standing back and looking at the pipe layout with all of the fittings , why couldn't a just run all the drains to the outside and put it all together with clean outs on both sides. Never seen this but why couldn't it work. Other than my silly thought, the job boss is trying to keep you on your toes. She is amazing with her activities. God bless your family and home.

If I understand correctly, I suppose you could but that would probably be more work and a lot more pipe. They would still need to be tied together to run to the septic though.

To open a real tight jar, slip thin metal screw driver between cover and jar slight pressure towards you, you should hear a pop 5:50

I found that channel locks work best to open glue that has been sitting. Keep up the good work. You're making progress!

Good call! Never thought of that. I saw at lowes they have a tool to open the jars so the second one I bought I opened at the store and closed hand tight.

@TriStarHomestead no because we have a rubber lining at the connection points, and you also need to lube the ends up before you connect them, and then they are almost impossible to take apart again in Germany we call them KG rohr DN 110
