Since all of them are university students, then it is required to pass a final exam of English language. I bet most of them can speak at least one foreign language more, if only at the level of "lots of enthusiasm and hell of mistakes", like German or Spanish.

I usually don't watch shows that aren't in english because is the only language that I know, besides portuguese (I'm brazilian), this series was the only exception and I loved it!!!
