I want a Witcher 4 where you can play as a young vesemir and a kid geralt and you can switch between them two and tell their story and the adventures they went together
Not a bad idea. I do think it would be cool to create your own character and be able to choose the Witcher school you were trained in which would come with a set of specialties based on your school of choice.
@@ruski77 I’m pretty sure I know what I want more than you know what I want little buddy. I want zero real world politics. Just how the Witcher 3 is. If you want politics watch the news.
Idk about this year but as they will be working closely with the unreal department, we will likely see unreal demos based on early stages of the Witcher 4. I’m think they are gonna try to push boundaries with this game.
I would like them to remaster one and two that would be really nice, but I would also like them to create a separate game where you can pick one of the five schools and each school specializes in certain things so if you pick the cat school you can have Maybe faster attacks with critical hit chances and perfect poison and light armor. If you pick the wolf school you have a bonus to your sign and medium armor and light attack. If you picked a bear school, you specialize in heavy attacks, sword techniques, and heavy armor if you pick the other school, then you specialize in poison and light armor like it would be really cool to be able to pick your school and have the bonuses based off of the school you pick be applied to your Witcher as your base stats and then from there, you can add stats to your Witcher to help himeven more in the current skills that your school affects or other skills it would be a really cool aspect
Usually I would pre-order such a game. But since they want to remove "problematic" parts in witcher 1, I will wait. As soon as red flags like, diversity, strong female lead, inclusion etc. Blabla, shows up, it's simply, No Buy.
im sorry but i would love if they remade 2 and 1 for geralt. hes the best witcher ever and the witcher 3 is my top 3 best games of all time. im not all excited about 4 but i will see.
Give them time my friend the more success the studio has it kinda snowballs right? Witcher 4s profits and success will directly funnel into the effort and money put into the remake and the same will repeat for future. If Witcher 4 flops you can bet the remake will suffer greatly
@@LarsReinhardt007 I'm a big superhero fan so Batman Arkham Knight number one Grand Theft Auto V #2 and The Witcher 3 #3 those are my top three best games of all time
Everyone keeps saying how the technology's just getting "better" but it's really not, I'm in my mid 30s so got to watch it grow and honestly we reached the graphical ceiling years ago. The latest games like the latest Star Wars, Baldur's Gate and Harry Potter spin offs look like they were made over a decade ago and ran terribly on every platform. The problem we've got is that the designers are getting lazy, a game that uses a 150GB directory of settings for something that looks like it's from 2010 needs to have character and story to compensate. If they are making a Witcher 4 I hope they don't stray too far from the source material (we all saw how well that went for Netflix 😒) and they put as much care and character into is as they did with the last one. Honestly I'd be happy if they just refaced the Witcher 1 and 2 with the gameplay and graphics of 3, they were great stories hidden behind the limitations of the time, if they're still aiming for us Witcher fans these are the kind of Witcher games we want to see right? 🙂
No, we haven't reached the ceiling lmao. Not even close. Tech like UE5 and path tracing can't even be utilized by current hardware yet, at least not effectively. We're a good generation or two away from that "ceiling". Those 3 games aren't even marketed for their graphics either, lmao
This is just incorrect. It’s not laziness, it’s the requirement for developers to ensure their games can run on consoles and mid grade PCs. Graphics are absolutely progressing, and they’re progressing rapidly.
I am fine with them taking risks as long as they don't mess with the main formula. Like, add in whatever crap y'all want, but keep the core stuff there. I want bigger map, more side stories, more monster contracts, etc etc. Oh, and I want full on Gwent tournaments. I want to find random Gwent cards through the world and be able to build my own deck. Flesh that out more. I am all for taking risks, but don't do that at the expense of what made people love the previous title.
Oh man the witcher 3 is just the shit, 2015 was an insane year for gaming the fact that a 4th game is coming is insane to me and my wallet is open for it when the time comes.
Honestly if it's going to be another 4 years I hope that it releases on the Playstation 6 instead of the 5 because I want the best experience possible. The ps5 and series x are great in 2024 but by the time we get to 2028 they'll feel old.
how the hell is playing as a woman a risk or even a bad thing? several good games have you play as women, and ciri for example would honestly make for one of THE most badass protagonists in a game.
@@armageddon_boy4916 Like what are you even on. First of all... it's called "The Witcher" because that's the books the whole world IS based on. Second of all, there absolutely were female witchers, just not as many. It happened though, and Ciri besides from being well written character - in the world of THE WITCHER got witcher training, she doesn't need mutations because of her own abilities, and hunts monsters so that honestly makes her fit the description pretty well minus the mutations (would like to remind you a lot of witchers also didn't go through the whole mutation process) Why so incel?
Story? Are you for real? Are you ragebaiting? BG3 has a generic story and some characters didnt get enough interactions with the player to give them the last polish. Act 3 is way too rushed and we got robbed of an Arc 4. Minthara being one of said characters that didnt receive enough love. You get the usual random people are chosen to become a hero and safe the world nonsense story while the Witcher has many subtleties and connections to the books, a story full of complexity in a world of many facets and unlike BG3 just black and white. Ive played both games 100s of hours and in no universe does The Witcher 3 have better graphics, its a 2015 game, the Next Gen Update made a lot things better but it still cant compare to BG3s details in graphics.
@hristiyan5695 dude what are talking about? BG3 is more successful than the w3! Critically acclaimed! 96 on metacitic! And I love the witcher 3 😁 the acting is next level! Don't get me wrong w3 is a masterpiece but that just shows how great BG3 was!
@@chika4275 Baldurs Gate was made for a broad audience. The only thing that would scare many ppl away would be the combat system but the story itself is easy to grasp and pretty basic. We had many stories with the typical hero's journey which is okay but the Witcher 3 has a better, more deep story with an adult theme. Much more complexity and brutality which is more realistic than the High Fantasy theme of BG3. And Arc 3 is by far the worst out of them. There was definitely needed a 4th Arc because the city itself is way too clustered with no space to breathe.
Combat are not the same so difficult to compare. Story are subjective. BG3 is a dnd, TW3 is not. I played both and beat both and for music I can't remember much from BG3 but I do with TW3.
Cd project red roasting Ubisoft as the dog poop open world creators they have become lol. Rockstar is the only company ready to put out an AAAA game but cd project red the only people who rival rockstar with there open world games so hey maybe they will match with their own AAAA Witcher game jokes aside
@@waltuhputurdaway in a way but with them buried in GTA 6 and obsessed with micro transactions we all know what we are gonna get from rockstar it’s other great companies like CD and the one behind BD3 that are impressive
@@hunterdillman3678 not sure what you mean about GTA6, doubt there'd be a TON of micros atleast in the story game, also not sure what BD3 is unless you're referring to baldurs gate
@@waltuhputurdaway basically rockstar is pretty predictable as a company. They deliver these awesome open world games and it takes them a pretty decent amount of time to get the game finished which is good because that’s why they are so amazing. But then games like baldurs gate offer the surprise angle where a smaller studio creates a game of the year out of no where and that’s the more impressive deal. We know we’re going to get more great rockstar games but we can’t wait forever and eventually gta6 will get boring so it’s important that other studios are competing with rockstar to bring more games in between and pushing rockstar to have to keep stepping up its game instead of being lazy because they are undisputed king
@@hunterdillman3678 true, we already know what kind of games rockstar is gonna make, it's up to the other smaller companies to make new feeling GOTY worthy titles like helldiver's 2 and BG3
@@r3tri3ution_z3nith_point_z6 Thats your main concern.............. you should be more worried about whether or not you get a authentic Witcher game. Considering the old CDPR is gone and a new ESG/DEI woke CDPR has taken its place. Dont get me even started about the low res people working on these games. Than again you casuals always did love to stick your heads into the sand.
Procedural generated worlds and AI based story telling will be the worst that can happen to the franchise. The reason Witcher 3 was so impactful was how carefully crafted the world was and how well written and stitched the stories were. And that kind of quality comes from a place of intentional storytelling. The only place where AI can perhaps benefit is the NPC’s the world dynamically reacting to your actions
in this THAT YOU REVERE WICHER 3 IM A HANDICAPE AND CAN NO LONGER AGAIN PLAY WITCHER 2 MY REDRAGOB M990 A 16 BUTTON PROGRAMMABLE DOESNT FUNCTION THERE BUT THE EARNEST DEDICATION TO WITCHER 3 IS IMPRESIVE
Whatever the game is like, it wont be any where near the quality level as was The Witcher Wildhunt, but people pretend to be stupid by sticking their heads into the sand. Ignoring the chances the company has gone through. That CDPR that once set a new standard is long gone.
