Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. My beautful baby girl waa born on May 3rd by C-section. She was due the end of May but had to be delivered earlier. She weighed 7 lbs 7oz. You look so healthy, Iyah! I don't like when people pressure moms to “snap back” etc because they really do have to heal and that healing takes time. But you do look great and pretty much like you’re back to your old self!

I had children with 2 husband's, so I was going to say something about how daddy was doing..lol. I know from experience watching my husband's, that they are just as exhausted as we are. Their minds are on us and the baby and the responsibilities of being daddy and husband. Plus the normal stuff oof the everyday things they need to do. Mental and physical weariness are just as exhausting to them too. As women the hormones can get us through much of the exhaustion because we can get wired up. Just another thing that proves God knew what He was doing..Iyah, you look amazing. You seem to be a bit concerned about your body. I was too, about hips. Since your bones are still softer thete, and while nursing, I got into tight jeans as soon as I could and would have to struggle to zip them. It did the trick girl. I had 5 kids, never had much of that hip spreading problem. I did once I had a full hysterectomy to remove cancer, but I was already much older by then? But you are looking so amazing. Keep taking care of yourself and your hair and makeup as you normally would. If you start to give in to putting yourself last, it will become a habit. I did that once. Soon you start feeling depressed about how you look and it's just a miserable cycle. The baby will be set in her ways and used to your routine and you will never find the time for you. Hope that makes sense. Lol. Just wanted to share a few tips from someone who's learned from experience. Love you both. Your daughter is such a beautiful little girl. I pray all the peace and protection God can give you all. Do not stress, find your way of doing things and don't listen to people that may criticize you for how you do or do not do things.

I am very happy for you! In my case, I had to do everything on my own. I went through tough times in every ways but when my son was, I forgot all my worries, He is everything for me and he takes care of me. I do the same things without his knowledge, He is very proud of me and says he got a very strong and intelligent mum,

Best thing you can do is make noise while she is asleep my 1st son we made sure we had music going all day one night he was having a bad night and I was up and down with him I finally put some classical music on and he went to sleep and slept for 6 hours it was amazing. And then when we had 3 boys and we were packing to move once my boys were in bed asleep I went into their room to pack it all up and because they were used to noise so they slept though it all. So make sure you do the cleaner and make noise you will have the best baby out

You both look great! Thought you would have been AWOL for a few weeks with getting used to a new human. But you guys are 100% ok and happy. Congratulations!

I learned the hard way how awful formula was for my babies. I have 4, breastfed all 4 but my first two only for a few months while supplementing formula. I didn't know what I was doing with the first two. But when I switched them permanently to formula their bellies hurt them so much. We dealt with constipation, terribly. All kinds of issues came by me feeding them formula. So with my last two, they exclusively breastfed for the entirety of their infancy. They stayed so much healthier. They seldom cried. Never once dealt with constipation and was so much easier transitioning them to whole foods. My 2nd child couldn't eat whole foods until after she was 2. And even then it was a very slow process. Because it hurt her belly so terribly. She cried so much, and caused her to become seriously constipated. There were also very few juices i could give to her, because they did the same thing to her. I had to give her 1 part juice 2 parts water, to prevent her from having major tummy issues, and only a little here and there. She could not have much at all. I had to be very slow introducing everything to her. So she lived off of pureed baby food until I was able to completely transition her into whole foods. She's now 10 and doing well. ♡ but yeah, It makes me happy to see mommy's choose to breastfeed. Just because it truly is far better than formula, I know it from personal experience. It also really benefits mothers as well. It helps in preventing breast cancer, uterine and ovarian cancer. It helps your uterus shrink back down to size quicker. If your baby is sick, your body will know before you. And will create antibodies for her. [The color of your milk will change in color] this is why breastmilk is called liquid gold. It helps keep her belly balanced. Keeps her good bacteria balanced. Breastmilk kills germs so fast. It truly is amazing stuff! ♡♡♡♡ I'm proud of you and you look amazing. Such a beautiful mama. And Raf you're doing amazing too. I know I was giving you a hard time lol... but all joking aside you guys did amazing and I'm super proud and happy for you!
