Would like to see how the SS Air TW feels to you. I have enjoyed my Aldebaran BFS but it isn't that smooth. The Conquest and that share gears, but I figure and hope the Conquest feels better. The 2021 Conquest 100HG might be the smoothest reel on Earth right now.
I’m sure SS air TW probably wins smoothness wise. But also, “smoothness” is probably the most subjective opinion you can have regarding a fishing reel. The only difference between the 23CQBFS and the 21CQ100 is the fact it has infinity drive which simply means an upgraded pinion which allows better torque distribution if I had to guess. This cqbfs definitely feels fantastic in every way though. It’s an overall more reliable reel than the Alde22 on paper at least. Then again I’ve never had the opportunity to fully try one out.
@@TheHunterFisher It misses Infinity Drive due to the inclusion of the Aldebaran spool, which was designed without. Infinity Drive is just a tighter fitting shaft inside the pinion, slightly different on Shimano spinning reels though. I'd be shocked if the SS is smoother than the Conquest, but totally agree smoothness can be subjective in reels...
