Omg the triangle head would be so intense with a bob! And my hair is straight from crown to temples so it would look like all that was longer since I 100% cannot be bothered to straighten it
My hair is wavy/curly like yours and it was down to my butt in February- and I chopped it to my chin in a very textured layered bob and I absolutely love it and absolutely understand the importance of not having triangle head 😂
If you really want to grow it out, you said it's damaged. I hope you can stop bleaching it to change colors frequently and make up a healthy hair care routine instead. It will be nice and healthy and lay flat. All the best!
Oh laying flat is never going to happen since it's wavy/curly. I've been trying to avoid bleaching the lengths as much as possible or at least doing very short duration baths
I was able to grow my hair long enough to sit on while still bleaching/coloring it. It's a matter of being extra careful and learning what products your hair and scalp like from my experience.
Cutting the damaged hair off will help the hair look and feel much healthier and will also help in regrowth, so don't be afraid to trim a bit more. If your nervous you can always start small and cut a bit more if you feel it needs it. I can already tell the back needs more. You could also invest in clippers to help reach the back. The best of luck to you.
Not trying to be rude or mean. You should try to keep your hair in the same shade range, so you don't keep damaging it. You're never going to achieve healthier hair. You should've cut a little more than you did, it still looks wispy on the ends. It's not that much shorter either. Happy healthy hair future 😊
I understand the hair texture struggle. My mom has pin straight hair that cant hold a curl and my dad has ringlet curly hair. I have both. It always looks frizzy bc of the tight curls scattered randomly everywhere. I just learned to accept it bc i cant be bothered to style it every day.
