Hi Sherry! Those glitters are spectacular! You might have figured this out already, but the clips have a flat side and a curved side. The gaps are because the clips were attached upside-down - flat side goes against the resin. The flat sides also have a larger hole, so the clip isn't visible from the front. Another tip I have for you, is to flip the entire mold upside-down after the first two rounds under the light, instead of popping the pieces out, and cure again. The molds are translucent so the light can get through, and that should help with the stickiness. I've made a few of these and they are always so pretty. I really enjoy your videos, and it's nice to see another crazy lady from Canada! Cheers!

BahHahaha I’m doing the same project for a craft show. I’m using regular resin. The downside is the top of the barrette. You have a gap because you put the clip on wrong. The flat side is attached to the resin. No need to dome the back because the clip has to lay flat. Pretty glitter.

Hi these are lovely Hun but please don't take offense the reason you have a gap is you've probably put the clips on the wrong way round they are supposed to have a curved side and a flat side which being the flat side glues to sparkly decorative and the curve goes to the head to aid in comfort of curve to scalp Hope you don't mind me saying I mean no malice what so ever and love your work and your nutty personality your just great Hun Love from UK ❤️❤️❤️ xx

I use parchment paper and clip the barrette piece to and then put the resin piece on. I also use my heat gun to soften resin piece and push it onto the metal form with e6000 glue on it. Let it cure naturally or in sunlight.

Love them. Try to flip the medal clips the other way. Flat side down. It will glue better. Just trying to help out

Beautiful autumnal colors. The metal clips have a straight and a curved side, the straight side gets glued to the resin.

I love these. Because these molds are see-trough you can flip the mold and cure the backside wile there still in the mold. Love the butterflys

If you have trouble with them not curing put them outside in the sun and cover them with a clear plastic box and leave for for an hour. I also do this after using the uvlight. The sun is stronger . I do this all the time. Go luck.🙂 They look beautiful

I just made these for my daughter. Second set. I used E6000 to attach. No issues. I didn’t use uv resin just regular resin. Those turned out very pretty. Also there is a back and front to those clips. One side is flat to glue to the barrette. The other curved as you see. Yep got mine off Amazon as well.

I set the top under the lamp then turn it over and dry the bottom in the lamp too. Love your colours.

Do you just drink your coffee cold? I need that butterfly svg file. I have a really pretty one a friend made. For my daughters 20th birthday party I made 50 butterflies in pastel lemon, pink and blue. I put them all around the upstairs where her party was and the guest thought they were take home items, there were only 3 left. They are gorgeous 3D one’s. Love your hair clips but I have enough hair to need two at a time. You need some two sets for long haired people. Thank you Sherry. ❤

I use that brand. Its a really good uv resin with no smell. At least for me there's no harsh smell.
