As a Brazilian, the BEST açai ever is the from the most random, raggedy, small, shacks or booths in Brazil. The cheaper and more rundown it looks the better usually. It’s a whole different experience, by rundown I kinda mean “more homely and humble”, not dirty or neglected. Truly the best. Also keep in mind açai can only be exported in pulp form which loses flavour after a few hours, so when it’s fresh it’s dark purple almost black🙏🏽

acai can also be exported in the whole berry once frozen and is quite commonly found in the frozen aisle in grocery stores
