The times you guys get spooked by the PA out of nowhere is super funny! 😆 Jumpscare out of nowhere! 😆 Glad you guys enjoyed it! Now I kinda want to order jollibee. I think jollibee does try its best to have the taste as uniform as possible in all parts of the world.
Since your Singapore vlog trying Jollibee I started watching you guys. I'm glad to hear you're in the Philippines. Enjoy your trip and hope to watch more of your travels.
Hey guys! I’m so jealous! Haven’t had Jollibee for 6 years now since we moved in Melbourne permanently! You should’ve requested for thigh part upon ordering to get the best experience with the ChickenJoy! Palabok has been in the menu since time immemorial, it’s the OG filipino noodle dish. Hope to win Tattslotto soon so I can bring Jollibee in Melbourne LOL But rumor has it that a Jollibee franchise will soon open in NSW. Enjoy Pinas! Take care
I died everytime they said something over the speaker 😂 did I completely miss it or did you not try the corned beef? I was keen to see what you both thought about the corned beef because I know some people feel weird about beef in a can.
Since watching you guys and Mike Chen, I wanted to try Jollibee so bad then I found one near me in the UK and omg I was so excited, the chicken joy gave me so much joy!! Haha The best fried chicken by a mile!! Mango peach pie was out of stock though but hope I can try it soon!!!
I really wanted to try the Chain out too After watching them both. I randomly saw one in Dubai while travelling but, I think there was something wrong with the stock. The bucket we ordered was not great at all. I was quite surprised. Chicken was really dry as well too. I do want to give it a try again in Philippines one day.
In the palabok, it's rice noodles with the orange sauce on top, the toppings include beef, crushed up chicharrón (the "fried onions"), and shrimp. The little green fruit on the side is "calamansi", a little cirtrus fruit similar to lime but it's sweeter. It's a MUST to squeeze it on top of the Palabok cuz it takes it to another level. Consistency in the quality of the fried chicken really does depend on the store, hopefully you guys get a really good juicy batch next time cuz it's the best! The sauce in the chicken sandwich is a honey mustard mayo type of sauce, it's my fave alongside the chickenjoy 🥰 I'm really glad you guys enjoyed and I can't wait to watch the rest of the series!! ❤️❤️ (I currently live in Manila so I really hope I get to see you guys 😭)
Been to Boracay a few times, one of the best beaches/islands ive been to, food in Philippines always amazing. Hope you guys had a great time stay safe and stay hungry😎😎
Spicy chickenjoy, pineapple juice, and spaghetti are my favorite items from Jollibee. Thankfully had one open up walking distance from where I used to live in the states. I have since moved to another state and good news is one just opened up last week here as well! Although, I gotta say I have been getting it less recently just because I would get korean instead and I’ve had it loads in the past. Still want to try it in its home country though.
I like how you guys actually say something isnt that great or just ok when it is. I have had Jolliebee quite a few times and other than the pie and the gravy there are better options out there for fried chicken
I’ve tried Jollibee once and loved it while on vacation then came back home and I’ve been craving it since. Unfortunately we don’t have one in the state I live in.
@@lmaree200886 oh the channel was originally a vlog channel for Chonny's original main channel mychonny, so the channel name is kind of saying "Day in the life of Chonny", he later pivoted it to be a travel/food vlog channel with his girlfriend Dalena.
@@OsakaBoi JFC, read my comment again! I said to explain where the names really came from you dingbat not give a whole channel history! 🤦♀️ Chonny is John's nickname and Day is from Dalena's name cause that is her nickname. Also I think that you should apologise for being unnecessarily rude to OP Flashton 30. Rudeness and creepy perverts are not welcome on John & Delena's channels.
Hi John and.Dalena. we're from the Phils. normally when you order Chickenjoy you can ask the cashier for a thigh part or drumstick. it so happens that when they gave your order they gave you a rib part which is less juicy. you can always politely ask the staff to change it to your preferred part. its too bad you were unable to taste the PIZZA MELT PIE that they offered a few years back. that was the best. you can also try Chowking and Mang Inasal which are the sister companies of Jollibee. Max's is also a great restaurant although on the somewhat pricey side. they have the tasty Bicol Express and Sisig. Cheers!
If you’re still in the Philippines, gotta try Aristocrat Bbq at the original place on Roxas Blvd in Manila. It’s an iconic place. My parents had their wedding reception there in 1956. That’s how long they’ve been in business. That’s a must have for me whenever I visit the Philippines.
Omg Chonny and Dalena I LOVED this Jollibee Video so much and the fact you ate the whole menu ..This was the best👍 I adore you both I can’t wait for the next vlog ..x❤️🥰💕
Dalena it never ceases to amaze me how much you can eat! For such a small girl! It seems to me that you can eat more than Chonny! Where does it all go?? 😝
Very nice episode. I enjoy just watching her eat the spaghetti. I am going back to the Philippines next month, for sure I will visit Jollibee at SM Clark. Enjoy your stay in Boracay and maybe visit Coron or El Nido in Palawan, voted best Island in the world.
Can't go wrong with my Jollibee's Fab Five. The amazing Chickenjoy with unique gravy, 🍗 the tasty Spicy Chicken Sandwich 🍔, sweet Filipino style spaghetti 🍝, the phenomenal Peach Mango Pie 🫓 washed with fresh Pineapple Juice/Quencher 🍍. Life's good 👌🇵🇭
What time did you order? Try near lunchtime or dinnertime so that a new batch of chicken would be served. You can also try to ask for the part of the chicken that you like.
pro tip on fast foods, you can request what part you like, just say i want thigh part or wings hehehe locals usually ask for specific parts that we like :)
Glad that you guys enjoyed Jollibee in the Philippines. I've been eating Jollibee since I was young and never get tired of eating it. It really is a jolly moment everytime I eat at Jollibee. Enjoy your stay here xx
Have you ever lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, looked wuth lust? if so you need to repent today and Believe in Jesus Christ to save you from Hell and go to heaven instead
I need to try the palabok again my first time trying was take out and just seemed like over cooked soggy noodles so texturally wasn't my thing but maybe it was because I was eating everything I ordered first so it was sitting there steaming in the to go container. IDK if anyone else has had that experience. Definitely want to try the spaghetti, I've had Filipino spaghetti a long time ago at my friends place so I am looking forward to having that kick of nostalgia hit for me. I just remember being fed so much of it by his mum. Craving the Chicken but haven't tried their burgers. What I really want is the pies. Not sure if we have the ube/cheese one hear yet. I ordered Jack fruit and one other I forget.
I am so excited and glad that y'all are trying Jollibee as seen another RU-vidr that I watch and Jollibee and it didn't give me the same Vibes that this video is giving I'm so glad to see how you eat jelly bee I've never tried Jollibee because not one in my area but I will try it one day in the future
OMG! We'll be in the PH and Boracay next month! How I wish we booked our trip a month earlier... LOL! This is the funniest food vlog ever... Number PIPTEEN! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s amazing how many fast food outlets menus are pretty much the same things but it stops there for some reason . Jolly bee obviously have something else as there is fairy constantly good not that I’ve ever eaten there but I’ve seen a lot of reviews that have . Good on you jolly bee and I’m hungry now guys respect for all the eating lol
We always go to the Jollibee in Daly City, California. The spicy leg and thighs are the best!! Dark meat chicken is all they have...which is fine for us, because we don't care for light meat chicken. Please get the dark meat leg and thighs next time and the Pineapple Quencher drink...you are missing out, if you don't!
Nice video lol the order announcements were hilarious hahaha BTW if you are trying the breakfast menu (longganisa, corned beef, etc) you need to order before 11am. After that it won't be available. Menu will be changed to the normal stuff.
welcome to where I live guys, everything is affordable here! enjoy Philippines at its best!! Jollibee is very affordable here! the chicken and the Palabok is my fave!! omg its soo funny you guys are near the loud-ass speakers LOL
when ordering, ask for thigh part and tell the cashier that you are a vlogger so they can get you a thigh part hehehehe I do that and most filipinos requests for their most preferred chicken part 😍 also try to request for a newly cooked chicken 😇
OMG. My butt cheeks clenched every time auntie called out a number. lol @Chonnyday can you see how many restaurants you guys go that have loud speakers calling out orders? :)
Been salivating for KFC the whole week. Today, I gave Jollibee a chance. I ordered spaghetti, chicken pie and spicy fried chicken. Wow! So pleasantly surprised! Las Pinas branch, you're doing something right. I swear the spaghetti changed. It's now sweet and has a tangy tomato taste. Before, HT was just all sweet. The chicken ala king pie was super duper sinfully yummy. Finally, the greatest surprise, spicy fried chicken. I've had it so many times but the one I had a while ago was Super ultra duper flavorful. Now, I'm convinced that they've overtaken my all time fave, KFC!
