The biggest miss in these challenges imo was the inability for Kabam and the creators to take any constructive criticism on them. Instead their response is “don’t do it” or “it’s not for everybody”. Well they’re right, this content seems like it’s for the .01%
I have not done any spring of sorrow, winter of pain, stupid creator challenges with champs I won’t rank up use outside of a challenge I won’t ever do..they want to create these game modes and say don’t do it well I’m not doing it and it’s definitely not for me because I’m not wasting units on revives
Constructive criticism? lol Karatemike and Finn were being berated bashed and threatened far beyond criticism for challenges that aren’t actually that hard to do.

Agree with your assessment overall. Avengers challenge was the best but it also required the most in terms of resources. Zemo challenge was good but I felt like whenever you couldn’t bleed the champ, the fight dragged (looking at Terrax, Vision, and Dragon Man specifically). The Starky challenges were fine but it really stood out that those two challenges were meant for everyone (low resource demand, gave you the champ for free, the two Kangs aren’t easy but are far from the hardest bosses). The last two were really annoying. Half the Mojo fights were just terrible and there was nothing you could do about it. Tigra and Jabari had some fights that I saw what he was going for. Crossbones went really well for me. It took me two revives to get the feel for the fight but once I did, I took him down to 20% and finished it with one more revive. I think the number of difficult fights was the problem like you said. It was too much of an investment for not enough reward.
Legacy’s challenge was the best in my opinion. I really like the Kang bosses so it was cool to go back . The bosses work well with Spider-Man’s kit too because you gotta dex a lot
I did the avengers challenge in less than 20 revives and I had them all at R3. Only serious investment was bw and Thor in terms of sig stones. Also I had a bunch of revives expiring so I was basically just throwing them at the quest instead of healing/playing carefully. I am not that great a player so I definitely disagree that they should've given out rank up materials since it was very doable with r3 champs. It was a super fun challenge that wasn't too hard. Most fights were solos or had interactions where you needed to think strategically a bit, which was a fun change. Zemo was about as easy. You didn't need to spend units at all to complete them.
I personally liked them all considering that I’m used to use items for all carinas. As you said, avengers one was the best. I really really liked the black widow fights. Especially against Korg. And to be honest I kind of liked the mojo challenge as well. As you said, I learned a lot about those champions (I already forgot most of it meanwhile) and I would love to have similar challenges in the future. But please, with 4 or 5* champs so everyone has the same chance. (My mojo was R2 duped 7* at that time already for example)
Lagacy’s challenge was the nicest to everyone the other ones imo were either for only the best of the best or the one who stockpiled hella heals and stuff
Just bad content full stop. If the rewards suck there is no point. Total shit show of resource sink both for champion rankups and for the fights themselves
so i have done fintechs challenge and karatie mikes and 1 of lagacy challenge. I got lucky with karatie mikes challenge cuz i got 3 of the those avengers as 7 stars so rank up needed and i had fun with lagacy and karatie mikes. For fintechs challenge i have rank 2 jabari and rank 2 mojo 7 star sig 60 and max sig ascended rank 5 tigra those challenges were horrid
Me and you definitely have different definitions of fun. I only have the mojo and avengers challenge left and the zemo challenge sucked. There were so many fights that he wasn’t good for at all and were just item pits. That one was my least favorite one so far but they all sucked imo.
I finally finished them I enjoyed starky and zemo even the avengers wasn’t horrible but mojo was dumb as hell I ended up using real money cause I was stuck at terrax I didn’t feel good while doing them that’s not a challenge it’s suffering
Hate to say it but these challenges showed which creators were more about giving the community a fun experience and who was looking to make themselves shine in Kabams eyes. Unfortunate
I disagree with your assessment. I enjoyed all of them. I thought the design was well thought out and the rewards were what they should have been. I would love to see Kabam do it again, but given the vitriol they expose their community members to it seems unlikely that we will ever get anything like this again. It was supposed to be hard. And progressively harder from Lagacy’s to Fintech’s. And the rewards were good - your choice of 2 really good, exclusive 7 Star champs - but, not so good that people feel pressured to do the content to “keep up”. This content was for end game players, but they made the Lagacy challenge accessible enough for a wider group so pretty much anyone who wanted could get one of those done.
If this is the only content (I've only done Lagacy challenge) you have left to do in the game, is it better to save resources for future content or just do them now?
Agreed for Lagacy's one. Straight forward ok, everybody could do it I wasn't really hyped AT first on Mike's ones, but really enjoyed them both when i did them. Also easier than i thought AT first, did the two the same weekend and most of the fights can be soloed. For fintech ones i do disagree with you I did the mojo one a while ago, i don't remember it was that horrible to me. I tried jabari and Tigra one a few weeks ago. It made me so angry that i actually quit the challenge After a few fights on Modok. It's just a piece of shit challenge, with no fun at all.
Karatemike challenges ended up being my favorite. I definitely agree and always am disappointed that kabam doesn't add some kind of rank up gems with the required champs
