It is the strangest way I have ever heard the word "drawer" pronounced. On early videos it was very confusing until I figured out what she was saying. She basically just drops the "er" at the end for some reason.

Not boring at all! Every build brings a new perspective... no matter how many of these videos I watch, there is always something to take away. Showing your mistakes and fixes is the bonus... it's genuine and helps me to be confident that a non-pro is just as capable of a project like this. I appreciate that!

I'm a professional furniture maker and this isn't boring at all. I'm in the midst of building a whole new workshop from scratch (65' x 23' which sounds weird but we work in metric here in Australia so it's a sensible size and I don't have to deal with fractions 🤣😂) and as it's likely to be my forever workshop, I'm going to kit it out with beautiful cabinetry as well as my office so this is perfect inspiration for me. Nice job with the shaper station, that's such a clever use of space.

I'm glad you DID make the video because I found it worthwhile to see someone making workshop cabinets and presenting an alternate way to, e.g., line up drawer slides as well as your design decisions regarding the depth of the cabinets, the Shaper work area, etc. I'm also really happy to see someone who designs furniture applying a 3D printer in their workshop. I'm looking forward to seeing your applications. Thank you for sharing.

On top of how fun it is to watch you being a total pro woodworker, it has an additional extra point of seeing you happy with the product (and that we'll be seeing more of it in future videos, just like your workbench). Cabinets are not boring. I have been debating on learning how to make them for years. The drawers and calculations fascinate me for some reason. Nice cabinets. Love the front panels and the handles. Just a quick tip for spiders: use a soft, not too dense, broom. As soon as you place it on the spider, it will curl up and hide in the broom. Then take it out and give the broom a good shake. Works for me all the times.

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you and let you know how much I respect you for not editing out your mistakes. Seeing you work through things like cutting a cabinet door the wrong way-something I've done so many times-really resonates with me. I never thought to fix it with a Domino like you did, but I’ll definitely try that next time. I make mistakes all the time, and it can really hurt mentally. Sometimes they’re not a big deal, but other times they are, especially when it means losing material. Knowing that someone like you has made the exact same mistakes is so reassuring. The next time I mess up-which will probably be tomorrow-it’ll help ease the sting a bit. So anyway, thank you.

Hi Tamar- excellent design and style of your finished cabinets. I’m a designer and I spend a ton of time in the shop and when I watch people building shop cabinets, I wonder why they don’t just make them nicer because it’s just a little bit of cost difference for material choice and maybe a little more time planning in the case of making a frameless look or something. But people have a tendency to, wish they had put more time in later in cases like that especially when you spend all your time in there. Just wanted to say good work and great final outcome!

LOL the spider part. My 17yo niece will not reenter a room unless the bug she spotted is killed. If it's not found, she will not sleep in her room. If you flush it in a bathroom, dead or not, she will not use that bathroom for days. I liked the cabinet build because I haven't built anything like that yet. I have an old machine stand that was my grandpa's (maybe even great grandpa's) that I use for a drill press stand. It's open on the bottom and I wanted to make a long draw for bits and a deeper drawer underneath for bit sets and larger items, inside of the frame. So this gives me some ideas on how to go about it.

Love it. I implement my version of your builds more than anyone else on yt! That being said, you enunciated "draw-ing" but not "draw-er" lol. Love it

Always great to have more drawers. The truss head screws for the slides are a good idea, thanks

Yeah! And if you’re using 1/2” drawers, the screws that come with the slides always poke through… these don’t.

Great build. The storage is awesome. I would say this is the best case for me to want a 3D printer that I've seen. All the stuff you showed is awesome and really handy.

I really enjoyed this video. Your shaper workstation storage idea was great. I think I might be stealing that one when I finally get around to building my run of cabinets.

If you’re going to be building more drawers, it’s time for the LR32 system. Can save so much time on the screwing in of the runners when everything is set up in advance

I enjoy videos like this. I also just purchased a Bambu Labs printer (P1S) and looking forward to creating storage, jigs, and fixtures.

Having an easy reliable 3d printer was really a game-changer for projects like this... just being able to mock up a quick jig in OnShape/Fusion and print it out has been great for making things more repeatable and accurate when building things.

Your cabinets look AWESOME and enhance your beautiful workbench so much! You have such great ideas on how to overcome obstacles. Thanks for sharing all the great tips. Looks like your ankle has healed up real well! Maybe you can use your new printer to make a dust hose attachment to suck up ceiling spiders.....haha!
