The Passport thing, was when Belize was British Honduras, and even after the Name wrixle, they were British Subjects (Subjects of the Crown) until 1981 when Belize became a selfstanding Land and thus, switched to Belizean Citizenship. That's all really.

I was wondering why I wasn't getting any of your videos!! I was supposed to be traveling this year (to my dream places) and I had to take in 4 grandchildren wearing the clothes on their back ...words can not explain, Plans changed drastically and I laugh to keep from crying, but your videos gave me LIFE LOL and they (grands)would ask "Where are you traveling to today?" So i would tune in to see where "WE" were going . I just thought yesterday ,"Wow Ace must be taking some time off." Hi Ace, I met you at the Airport in Belize. The guy in the green polo shirt whom you took the picture with. I flew from Panama to Cancun trying to get home in Belize, that airport in Cancun gave me the same trouble, lucky I have a 2 US VISA. B1/B2 and a Diplomatic Visa.
Same thing happened to me in Cancun when i was waiting for my GF from colombia and they took her for questioning for hours while i was waiting outside but thank god they let her through. Its just unfortunate the things they have to go thought, i been there with you!!!

In Belize City, Rustic Korner is a hidden gem. Almost like an upscale juke joint, Excellent drinks food music dancing. It was lit when I happened upon this place. It was recommended by my hotel for the night. I was only looking for food and ended up in a whole party❣ On another note: I believe yhat having Queen Elizabeth's/colonists picture on Belizean currency is a form of racism.
The change from subjects to citizens means they are independent. Belize is a former British colony and they were British subjects. Subjects have limited rights. Citizens have full rights.

If you’re looking for Mayan cites- Corozal has Cerros Orange Walk has- Lamanai (that was the site above the blue hole at the border) Belize district has Altun Ha Cayo had Caracol and Xunantunich And if you’re going to the south hopkins/dangriga is nice and full of culture!
I literally had Panamanian Immigration deny friends of mine entry as I was waiting for them at the airport as well. Sad how they discriminate based on nationalities. It ruined my Panama trip but I still managed to have fun.

Haiti Cuba DR Belize etc, are all in the Americas. Being from the U.S. myself and traveling abroad I learned to say the United States instead of America. Not being taught that there were states and islands called the “Americas” too was something I had to learn abroad. Technically this guys are “Americans” by location of residence. Just not United States Americans. Traveling abroad is educating
