FINALLY LEARNING THE FNAF LORE!!!! FNAF Ultimate Timeline 1-2 REACTION!!!! 

This is why I love watching people watch fnaf lore with no understanding. I think sometimes the fans forget that the true point of this series is the body horror of a soul trapped in a metal husk with no hope of escape or release and the anger that would accrue in a soul after decades of torment and suffering

The last parts of the episodes are just Mat explaining his reasoning for some of his theories / placements of specific events. What Mat is saying in the second episode at the end is that William Afton has no reason to make Baby, and that the crying child must have died first. You do still have to remember that Mat is just trying to piece things together. Also his last part of his video is mostly proven wrong if I remember correctly, but it is still a good watch.

Just warning you, the last parts of the lore get a bit confusing and complicated. The lore all the way up to FNAF 6 felt like it should have been the perfect ending, but was continued on and made a bit confusing. A new DLC for the most recent game, Security Breach, has a new DLC coming out next month and that will give more lore to figure out and hopefully tie loose ends. Love your reaction videos

The reason why the animatronics were broken because they are called the withered animatronics in five nights at freddy's 2. They're basically an older model than the one in the first game.

At the end of the videos, he explains conclusions he came to, but didn’t fit in because of one or more reasons. He then explains why he put what he put into the storyline. The videos are split up into storyline, and then the next section are explanations to how he came up with his conclusions. Hope that helps

I think a lot of Williams anger is realistic if you think about it. As matpats said it was the robotic part of the animatronics that failed after all if it was just a costume that would not have happened. He does blame his son a lot but he does not want to put as much blame as he should. Also by the logic you used about Henry shouldn't use animatronics to deal with the other animatronics is basically the same as you shouldn't try to get more soldiers to fight against enemy soldiers.

They were just that, nightmares. The kid who had his frontal lobe bit off by Fredbear survived, and he had frequent nightmares of demonic animatronics stalking him in his own home and trying to kill him at night. This eventually led to his suicide.

Just so you know most of the information in this timeline is based on assumptions. The creator of fnaf (Scott Cawthon) tries his best to keep the story of the games hidden in eastereggs so the community can write their own theories to try and piece things together; so even though we know that most of the events in this video do happen, we don't know exactly when they happen or what the characters motives were for doing these things. So these timeline videos are just taking bits and pieces of the story from the games and books and attempting to tell a completed story with them, so for all we know these videos could all be wrong or they could be 100% correct.

All the lore I remember in hands : the first restaurant was called Fredbear’s Family Diner. Two men opened the original restaurant and its several rebrandings as co-owners: William Afton and Henry Emily. Their restaurant’s concept was to create a special place for children’s birthday parties. While mostly serving pizza and cake, the thing that made this restaurant chain special was their “animatronic” wait staff and entertainment. Originally, they were unable to create animatronics. So, instead, they crafted two spring-lock suits that they or their staff could wear to appear as animatronics or place on a stage to perform. Their names were Springbonnie and Fredbear. The concept for the business did so well that they ended up creating a second location: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Within this new location, four new animatronics were created and adored. They were Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. William Afton would use his success and the spring-lock suits to act on his cruel and abusive thoughts toward the children who flocked to his restaurant, specifically the five children at the birthday party that he murdered after luring them into the backrooms with the spring-lock Bonnie suit. To cover up his sick actions, he made all of the suits fully automated but still hollow enough for children to fit inside. Once they were all automated, he placed the children’s bodies within them to discard the evidence-placing the children’s souls within each of the animatronics. With no bodies or evidence, no charges could be pressed against William Afton. However, the missing children’s case eventually caused the second location to close. After the closing of the second establishment and Afton’s growing interest in capturing children, William created another sister location, based on his new animatronic, Circus Baby. This location, Circus Baby’s Pizza World, was only owned by Afton but served the same basic concept. Circus Baby was made specifically to draw children to her by acting child-like. She could blow up helium balloons, dispense ice cream, and use her claw to grab children and stuff them inside of her. Circus Baby was specifically designed for trapping and killing children when she was alone with them in a one-on-one situation. Despite being a despicable man, Afton had a family-two sons and a daughter. He actively kept his children away from animatronics, such as Circus Baby, to keep them safe. However, Circus Baby’s design was too entrancing to his youngest, Elizabeth, and she was consumed by the animatronic. Circus Baby became aware of the soul of Elizabeth inside her. After losing his daughter to his creation, he shut down the sister location immediately. As players likely noticed, the fourth main title within the series is quite different from previous versions of the game. Instead of playing as a new hire within the facility to work nights and watch after the animatronics, players are a child who is haunted at night by the animatronics. This child is Evan Afton, the youngest son of William Afton. After losing his only daughter to Circus Baby, William chose to scare his youngest son away from the animatronics using a frequency that would cause his son to hallucinate. During these hallucinations, Evan would believe that the animatronics from the restaurant were within his home and trying to reach his room and eat him. On top of this, William encouraged his older teenage son, Michael, to bully Evan and regularly scare him with a Foxy mask. However, Michael purely chose to bully Evan out of his malicious intent and ended up bullying Evan inside the diner for his birthday party. He gets his friends to help him do this and pushes Evan into the mouth of an on-stage animatronic to truly scare him. Due to the design of the spring-lock animatronic, Evan’s tears caused the suit to fail and crush him inside the mouth. The suit had crushed Evan’s head, and after heading to the hospital, he was put into a coma to be stabilized. This would not last, however, and Evan ended up dying in his coma. Despite all the work that William had done to keep Evan from being killed by any of his animatronics, he failed to reign in Michael and inadvertently caused his eventual death. After losing a second child to the animatronics, the original diner closed, and William descended into madness.

So I stopped playing the games after like the 4th one, but if I remember right, the Nightmare animatronics are LITERALLY just that. Actual nightmares from either a kid or someone with a close interaction with the others.

Just remember that Part 1 is mostly fan fiction, 2 & 3 are mostly correct, and the main premise of Part 4 (the part about Mrs. Afton) is now completely debunked due to new information from the books.

There is some misunderstanding between Michael. William was scared that Evan would visit the Pizzeria after circus baby killing Elizabeth and came up with a plan to make nightmare versions of the 4 animatronics. William put his eldest son on a task, so Michael would only scared his brother so he would get nowhere NEAR the Freddy's pizzeria and he did succeed... But Michael just took it too far causing Evans death (The bite of '83.) Michael was the one visiting him and telling him how sorry he is.

Just to remember Drazu but the older brother Michael didn’t know the Springlock suit malfunctioned from a ton of movement and lots of moisture so when he put his brother in Fredbear’s mouth he just thought it would be a great prank but unfortunately he discovered that the crying and erratic movement of his little brother malfunctioned the suit and chomped him. Matpat mentioned in this in the video as well but that’s why Michael was depressed since he was racked with guilt from accidentally killing his own brother. Yeah, I got into FNAF around 2018? My boyfriend compiled all of Markipliers playthrough of FNAF while watching the theories in between. I went down a FNAF rabbit hole. im pretty caught up with the lore and have read the first 3 books as well. but what a crazy, wild and confusing ride it has been. Matpat's videos are made with the assumptions that you already know what's going on. A video that really explains the characters and story really well is the one "Brussel" made. It is a lot longer than this video but it really takes you along with the story and it only gets confusing because the story itself is confusing. But the explanations are amazing and is the main timeline/theory I'm going with !

Reasons for Afton to hate Henry: He ran him out of business He wounded his pride by buying him out of bankruptcy He denied the one and only true creation that was entirely his from appearing in the tv show when literally EVERYONE ELSE showed up He constantly hogged the spotlight and caused people to barely pay attention to Afton or give him his dues The robotic part of one of their patented springlock suits failed and bit him. Which, if I can play Devil's Advocate for a minute here is absolutely on Henry's head. Yes its new technology and there was no true way of knowing its limits...however...there had to be either ways around it or to make things safer. And even then he didn't design some sort of kill switch or other safety feature which could be activated either by someone or on its own. Now notice how I never said these were neccesarily "fantastic" reasons that justify his hatred. In order in response to these reasons: Henry was just doing his job, he was *potentially* trying to be nice when he bought out Afton, I can't really defend the TV show one that was just rude, Henry never asked for so much attention, this is not defendable. The point remains Drazu that Afton didn't fly off the handle one day and go berzerk over one little thing, your statement of "he has no real reason to be mad at him" or is "mad at him over nothing". Is just not true, he has plenty of reasons to be unlikable as is we really don't need to make shit up.

The reason many of the animatronics appear broken is because there arent any versions of these characters that are undamaged. The ones they've shown are from Fnaf 2 and are called the "withered animatronics".

How I've always viewed the thing with Michael playing a prank on his little brother and it turning deadly like that. While I do give Michael some of the blame for that because it should have never happened that's not a funny prank to play on someone, but he was also a kid at the time and had been made to think at the time by his dad that the robots were completely safe. So I do put more blame on William than I do Michael for that.

Welcome to the vague but fun web of FNAF lore. The important thing to know is that the lore is so vague there is more than one interpretation of the lore and this is especially true of the newer stuff. People will passionately argue something is wrong or debunked when its just vague and the truth is they like one interpretation more. The animatronics are broken in the video because there’s no models of when the animatronics were repaired. They were abandoned when the restaurant shut down

Fredbear was already in showmode so the springlocks coudnt be triggered, the reason behind the Bite of 83’ may have possibly been just a suit malfunction in that moment That because the springlocks are triggered into animatronic mode or “showmode” as i said, when some liquid enters in contact with them when they are in suit mode (when an individual can wear the springlock suit) So yeah, in short, it was simply a suit malfunction that escalated quickly

C.C’s movements did not cause the springlocks to go off, but his tears. Springlocks are sensitive to water, so that is why the jaw crushed down. If you did not know this, you are welcome.

Meaning the competing restaurant would have to be the already existing Freddy Fazbears pizza and Fredbears diner would also already exist because it comes prior to Fazbear.

Just wanna point out that this timeline is already outdated despite not being even a year old. Here's why. So at first, the FNAF story should have been only a trilogy, Scott confirmed in an interview that FNAF 3 should be the end. FNAF 4 came out and it did add lore to some still remaining questions but then it spawned a controversial theory... the dream theory. The theory was that EVERYTHING from fnaf 1-3 is A DREAM of the kid you play as(current lore doesn't even say that you play as that poor kid who died to fredbear). And it... 99% was. There were just so many pointers to it. From the plushtraps being a metaphor for Springtrap, Toy Animatronic from FNAF 2 being actual toys from some kid in the playground that you see in FNAF 4 AND ESPECIALLY, when you complete a night in FNAF 1-3 you hear a grandfather clock chime. But in FNAF 4 itself you hear an alarm clock. FNAF 1-3 was a dream because you HAVE A GRANDFATHER CLOCK RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM IN FNAF 4. This theory was basically the beginning of retconing the story. After some time the first fnaf book came out and the dream theory died. So fnaf 4 was just how we thought it was? a kid scared of animatronics living through nightmares and then dies... nope. When the book came out and then sister location came out(FNAF 5) IT CHANGED THE STORY OF FNAF 4 ITSELF. The nightmare animatronics are now some high sciency plastic robots that have illusion discs that make you see shit like you're on the greatest shrooms and that's when FNAF got basically complicated, worst of all it all could have been avoided if Scott(the creator) kept his word about something. Scott said that the books have no relation to the games, but the further we got into the lore, the more we realized that the game lore and the book lore are actually intertwined, not the same, but same rules and same concepts. And it's been especially now confirmed and the whole story from FNAF sister location to NOW is being retconned due to the current new books. So enjoy this series but as of 6.21.2023 it is weeks outdated lore that you're watching, but I do not recommend you to go down the lore rabbit hole unless you're into basically... infinitely puzzling bs.
