Thank you for another video from your travels.💪 Sadly several days ago Russia taken itself out of the worldwide web. Like China has. Maybe with some bad luck this is the last video we see made in Russia from a bike. 😢 We have to understand that being human counts, no matter were they live. We all have our struggles in life. That is why Russian people are so strong.

Nice trip upstream on the Aldan to get away from the dust for awhile. Good size river, the Aldan -- adds significant volume to the Lena 'fore it dumps into the Sea, way north of the Arctic Circle. And great lodgings in the middle-of-nowhere on your way to the mountains. Siberia has much to offer !

I have seen people use their wives stockings to cover the air filter intake as a first line of defence against the dust. Personally I think they look better on the wife, but wonder if you have ever tried it? Great watch. Really good edit. Ride safe 👍

I have watched you get on and off and wondered why you do it foot first. I remember that o your old bike the seat cover was torn from this boot. What I do is put my left foot on the peg and stand up, swing my right knee over the luggage and stand o the peg before sitting. This works well for getting off as well. As for the dust - to quote someone important *it is what it is " 😉
@cornelisberndsen

Left foot on peg is good way to mount. But.... careful not to accidentally engage first gear. I learned that to much shame.....

@@motorcycleadventureslive I have used this method for years on my transalp and my nc700x without problems. 110kg on average with minimal weight luggage in soft panniers, no topbox but light stuff on the pillion seat (tent, sleeping bag type of thing) and loose stuff in the tankbag. For me easied than lifting my leg over the seat.

You were much lucky than me on the section from Aldan River to Khandyga. I remember I arrived by the ferry to the other bank of Aldan it was 10 o'clock in the evening and heavy rain and my helmet was broken. And this 30km took me an hour or even longer. When I arrived to Khandyga it was night and I didn't have any hotel options, just two local guys helped me , found a apparent to hire, which was pretty good. Still can't forget their help

That guy you met looked like a fish out of water and that takes real courage to push yourself like that outside your comfort zone. Easier for you as you have all the skills and experience, the right bike and luggage, that said this is Russia and a long way. But is what life is about, pushing yourself and looking back to say "I did that". My wife is Thai and she was telling some farangs about all the places she had been with me, probably the most traveled Thai woman...and certainly the best woman IMHO. Where are you going next?
