Hello Melissa, I really wish I could afford to get a pair of the ear buds because my speaker on my phone doesn't work right. @@MsCaterific So the CASE takes a 32hr CHARGE, but the EARPODS only do 8hrs . So you recharge the EARPODS in the CASE 4 times before the CASE needs recharging.

I rescued kids 50 years ago and rescue kittens now. I don’t know which was more expensive or which brought on more laughter. The kids caused me to buy a sailboat so I could teach them to sail, tie knots, enjoy outdoors instead of drugs, enjoy swimming, and care about each other. ❤❤

Wow, those roofing guys were fast! Leftover trusses could be used for: playhouse for the kids, outdoor kitchen, animal shelter, small barn/shed for hay and grain, etc. Way to go, family, getting the hot tub back in place! Nice teamwork. And nice horsemanship, Kira!

I watched the first podcast. Very interesting. We are retired Navy. 45 years ago a year before my husband left the Navy we purchased 160 acres in Northern Wisconsin. Our children were 11 and 12. This was the best thing we ever did for our family. We build a home and a hobby farm in a town I had never been too. Our kids first time had a feeling that they had a home town. My son has a summer home there and we meet there most summers. You are doing the best job of parenting that you can due. The children will ever love this home. Because of the very cold winters we have moved to Florida but will ever think of Butternut as our home.

7 years on You Tube! I wonder how long it would take me to watch all your early videos? So glad I found your channel! During a patriotic holiday I was watching videos honoring our veterans and law enforcement officers. I watched the video of Jeremy being honored for all his years serving in law enforcement. BTW, George Srait’s song, The Weight of the Badge honors all our law enforcement. Very touching song! I just subscribed to your podcast and look forward to seeing you on your new platform!

I love that you show all your animals in each video, especially Kenji. Those extra trusses... use them for a potting shed. I had one that I kept all my gardening supplies in and it's a place in the shade to work on potting up plants and work on projects. I had a 12'x16' hoop greenhouse that ended in my potting 8x12 shed with an arched doorway in. It made it easy to go back & forth (also had the water spigot in there for hoses & a sink). Never got to add a hot water link, wished it was larger, but I just loved the time i spent in there over the years.

I moved to a new subdivision under construction and watched them build homes around me. The trusses were my most favourite time to watch the crane and fluidity of the construction men grabbing the trusses and positioning them into place to nail down. Even my dog would watch the work being done on the homes. Great dog sitter for him. lol

The garage and above apartment is going great. I did'nt comment last week, but I was amazed how strong you are, Melissa, working side by side with Jeremy, lifting those boards. I'm sure the trusses were a relief, as you both said, to get a team of experts in. It's good you know your limits. The roof experts took a load off you.

I am impressed that you two have this practically done. And the garage, apartment, and the hall from garage to house. Just really impressed. Love you guys. I’m 78 yo and really need an income. I keep thinking about what I can do. I went from walker to a cane so home job would be best No one wants me on a cane. I worked at home all my career as a Supervisor for RN Case Managers, Ergonomist, Psychologist and RN trainer. I flew every week. I can’t do that anymore. If you have a suggestion, I accept your wisdom. Love❤❤❤

That night sky clip was bloodly fantastic, sometimes it's way to easy to forget all the light a city uses and how it interfers with how you can see the sky, and then you see clips like that and you remember why it's good to look up when you are far from a city. So thank you for adding that.

Maybe you can use the unused xtra trusses to cover n enclose ur hottub area or use them to cover ur firewood or horse hay. I'm sure ul come up with the perfect solution for them😉

Make a large covered gazebo with the trusses. You could have a large picnic table in the middle and the kids could skate, skateboard, ride bikes etc. around it.

I love your reason for the need of the hot tub. When our three kids were teenagers we bought a 26 foot sailboat and we used it for the same reason as your hot tub. I loved the time with the kids without any electronics, especially now that they are grown up. They are the best memories. You will appreciate it later.

Even with clouds rolling by, your night sky is worthy of its own channel. The roof of the garage apartment is perfectly proportioned with your house. The dormers are a nice touch. Hopefully, you can sell the unused dormer trusses.

With our leftover mine trusses we built a wood shed and a carport on the side of our barn for a smokehouse.

There are times when it really is worth paying for a professional team to do something.....i've no noubt that you guys could have done the roofing project but the time you have saved is well into the months and this will allow you to have the building sealed and water tight well before the snow flies

Your home is coming along by leaps and bounds. As far as the trusses go, Jeremy make a small shed for garden tools or a mower something maybe a place to store some paints or something. You can always put stuff into a different life on a farm, never burn up old wood because in a week or two you will need some.

That hot tub is more like a pool. It probably feels great I, on the other hand, need a pool filled with ice. It’s 95* here today. Have fun!

Use the trusses to make a lil playhouse for the kids. One side could pop down to make a lil lemonade stand or something and you could put a popcorn machine in there for movie nights and have a lil concession stand for outdoor movies.
