Finally Playing WWE 2K22.. Do I Like It? 

So after playing a bit more I can honestly say that the gameplay is really good. This video doesn't do it justice though lol

One thing that I really like that I see nobody mentioning is how much the difficulty has went up. I used to play on legend and would have to intentionally try for a really good match. Now I'm on hard and am having a back and forth match

I played it for a few hours and I loved it The gameplay is very fun and MyRise is kinda fun. Nice to see everyone enjoying the game

The blood this game is actually really good, they actually bleed depending on where they got cut, I've watched one guy playing MyRise and so far all the blood he's got have been cuts over and under the eye. Once he got Road Dogg on the bridge of the nose.

Ok fine I'm buying it as soon as it goes on sale a little. The smoothness, the graphics, everything looks amazing. When you threw Ricky into the barricade and then literally a second after you clotheslined him , that just proved how much better this engine is

This is what happens when you don't rush out a game every single year, like literally just 1 game canceled/delayed and look how good it turned out

Yea the controls were a bit iffy for me however the first match I played was a 30 man Royal Rumble and won with John Morrison at #7. Overall pretty good game

At least 80 percent of animations during gameplay are the exact same. Not a huge change, not a groundbreaking shift in the series but some cool things added.

Because I skipped 2k20 and have been playing 2k19 for years, this camera angle is an even bigger shock to me. Hopefully they give the option to draw back and tilt it a bit so I can see something other than the ropes.

Great thing is broken table stayed till the end, not magically disappeared like previous versions. These are minor things but makes the experience so much better. Liked the combo system and gameplay. There is no doubt its the best wrestling game in last 8-9 years.

I really like the new engine. I skipped over 2k20 for obvious reasons, and I've been playing 2k19 until this point. My biggest complaint with that one was that fights could feel very stale and awkward at times. In 2k22, I love the pacing and striking a lot better. The pace feels a lot more organic and less mechanical. Really excited to get more familiar with controls and see what the community creations bring this year!

I played it on my friends ps5 and it’s a great improvement. The controls take getting used to but it’s a good change overall. I like the new pinning system and draft is pretty fun but they really need to add mid card champions and keep it updated. The camera angles make the game feel smooth too which is nice.

we want MyRise TheGreatOne, it looks so promising. i just watched Brandon and AM play the game, and i can say the walkthrough is a breath of fresh air.

I'm enjoying the game. But I'm not too fond of the new grapple system; I don't need to initiate a grapple every time I make a move. Some move should be done instantly without grappleing my opponent everytime.

I bought it with the intent on voicing how nothing has changed about it, because that's been its history, and was shocked just how fun the gameplay was. All I wanted was enjoyable gameplay to at least have a foundation for future to the modes.

I love it! I just hate the fact that their are no promos in universe; and I absolutely can’t stand the fact that The Fiend isn’t in the game.

I really like it it’s definitely a step forward in right direction bravo 2K. I’ll play more of it on my days off here got to train myself more to get use to the controls.

The new style of gameplay took a bit of getting used to but after a day of playing I got pretty good at it. Once you do it becomes a lot of fun imo. The Myrise is the best part of the whole game though. I feel like they definitely put some heart into building that part of it.

yeah that's the one thing all 2k wrestling games have in common you have to hit 3 or 4 finishers to pin your opponents but in the smackdown vs raw games you don't have to do as much damage for the pin you only have to hit one or two finishers and the kick out system is easier and you get your reversals more in the smackdown vs raw games but i still enjoy the wwe 2k games though. i had actually forgotten you had to hurt your opponent more to get the pinfalls in the 2k games until i watched the video.

Gonna go out on a whim and say it.. WWE2K22 is the most beautiful WWE game I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. The camera angle is bliss, controls are great and unlimited reversals allow for good match fluency. Myrise is on a whole other level I love it, incredibly realistic the career mode has kept me busy all day and reminds me of the real thing. I feel fully immersed and I’m proud of this game, worth the cost! Worth the wait, 2k need to take 2 years from now on to release their next games rather then releasing them year after year because the difference in quality is crazy! If your hesitant to buy it, don’t be you won’t regret it I promise.

I miss the lock up mini game to start matches and limb targeting. Every match feels like it follows the same pattern and is very fast paced.

Finally got my hands on this game. WWE 2k22 is a 10/10 for me 🔥. Graphics are phenomenal every wrestler has so much detail and 2K has every wrestler the way their suppose to be 👏🏽👏🏽. I’m on the Series X playing WWE 2K22. I did have the running glitch were you are suppose to bounce off the ropes but instead was running towards the ropes in my first match. I know the gone fix all the glitches with updates.I love the combo engine and the controls don’t feel to different from WWE 2K16. Maybe it’s just me. But amazing game I recommend this to be in your game rotations 🎮.

The gameplay is good. I actually like it. The combo system does add depth. You don’t have to use it… but it’s there. I enjoy it. The graphics are great.

THE ANIMATIONS LOOK SO MUCH MORE REAL

so watching this guy play the game and struggle to get his reversals in and reverse some of these moves reminded me that in the wwe 2k games it's harder get your reversals in and they don't give them to you as much as they do in the smackdown vs raw games the wwe 2k games on PlayStation 4 are different if you want to get a reversal in it's about timing and you have to time it right and wait to the last second before you've almost been hit then hit the button the r2 trigger on the PlayStation 4 controller. it's a whole lot harder doing a reversal in the 2k games because you almost have to have it "timed perfectly" and even then sometimes when it is the computer hate's on you and be "hating" you still don't get your reversal even when you timed it "perfectly" this has been a problem with the 2k games for about ten years since 2012 that they have never corrected. but i still like the wwe 2k games though even if i have five or six little nit picks about certain things the kick out meter was easier too in the smackdown vs raw games like i have smackdown vs raw 2010 and 2011 for my nintendo wii and it has the regular normal kick out system before they changed in 2012 in the 2k games. the new kick out system in the wwe 2k games is they have this you have to hold the "a" button to get to the red line crap. i hate that sometimes i'll let go of the button too soon and lose the match not because the person did the damage but because i let go of the button too soon or i won't be able to kick out because the red line will be too far away or it'll be way too small and the bar it'll only be one little speck of red and sometimes I'll even accidentally go over the red line. another flaw in the wwe 2k games is like sometimes in the games it'll feel like you've been getting your ass kicked for like five minutes because you literally were because momentum last way too long and the computer has the upper hand on you in the match and control of the match way too long but in the "smackdown vs raw" games their more like wrestling in real life and real wrestling in the smackdown vs raw games the computer/opponent doesn't have the upper hand or control of the match for more than three minutes and the momentum only last "three minutes" and sometimes you can change control of the match with a reversal. the submission system is also bad in the wwe 2k game's like in wwe 2k16 but at least you can change the submission system back to the normal one in most of the 2k games. but anyway those five or six things aren't complaints at all there really just only gripes or nit picks about the wwe 2k games but the three main ones are the new kick out system sucks it's harder to get reversals and they won't give them to you and the momentum thing where the computer has the upper hand in the match over three minutes. even though the smackdown vs raw games are better i still like the wwe 2k games on PlayStation 4 their good too.

Accelerator is in the game. Go to moveset for whatever super star you want to change and then go to attributes. Adjust different meters and then set either roster or universe mode as that setting. Once you go back to the character picking screen it’ll show the superstar overall change.

Seems like a good sports game has finally came. And what do you know they took a year off! I think all sports games like madden, nba2k should follow suit. Product would be leaps better. Props to this game for doing so and being patient.

Nobody is talking about this, but what’s up with the camera angle? It’s so zoomed in, and when you fight outside of the ring it gets even worse. There should at least be an option for different camera angles

From the apron you have to hold L1 or LB to perform springboard attack then press O or B, or square or X
