I know I’m a few videos late on a comment. But thinking about Steve being gone is a bit sad. And I’m happy he’s out chasing his own dreams and Oakes garage is still itself, but I think we can all agree that there’s a feeling of him gone because he was definitely a main piece to Oakes Garage’s puzzle. the frt fenders are always higher than the rears to clear the tire turning. if anything just raise the rear 1/4-1/2" only. looks sweet the way it is. also about the rx7's are the driving position so looow dont forget to add heat shielding to the trans tunnel area, shit gets toasty!

For the catch can, either raise it up or put a valve on it so when you fill it up it's closed and drive it its open

My only concern with putting the hole for the vent on the filler neck itself instead of on the cap like factory would’ve is that when you’re filling up your oil you risk actually getting some in your catch can and not even know it. And it’ll just fill up and you won’t have all of the oil in the enfine

Should get a powder coater and toaster oven to be able to powder a bunch of small stuff. I love doing it now in the garage. Little popup paint tent. Stuff will last ages over painting.

@@Thewatson77 and the finish is pretty consistent as well. Got one of the Eastwood guns with the two voltage settings and works mint. And it only takes maybe 20 minutes to bake most parts, maybe little less if they are thin.

First major thing that it needs is a hood prop. That was obvious. Second, much like the s13, is ganador lenses😂 Also, when you body drop a car with such a big kit, you gotta go taller tires. You'll lift the kit and fill up the wheel wells at the same time.

Good grief. We all tapped the center of the filler cap and ran a 5/16” ID silicon line to a catch can. If you ask nice I’ll tell about the turkey master mod to the oil filler cap which eliminates nearly all blow-by. Old school rotary racer here.
