We can all blame Zegler, but it was always Bob Igler's vision. He is the man at the top guiding the company. Ever since 2017 (Star wars episode 7) he's been the one responsible for the bs, so if there is to be a cleaning of "the house" then he needs to go. I think Zegler just leaned into Disney's message too much, but she isn't responsible for 7 years of Star Wars, Marvel and other Disney properties' destruction. Igler is.
To be fair, he's the CEO and isn't just overseeing the films made. He may be responsible for signing off on who works on what, but I doubt he has the time to sign off on every decision made regarding the movie. Perhaps he did know what was going on, but it's not like he was there every day to see what was going on.

Inclusion and representation over story and talent and his plan has now failed.
Iger is definitely in on this- the staff follows the lead and agenda of the CEO. At the first sign of trouble, it’s his responsibility to question things if he’s not on-board.
Blame for what? Not casting someone white in a movie role? Who cares? Nobody ruined Snow White. The original is still out there to be watched if you want to watch it. "They didn't do what I would do, so they're evil!", basically. What if people in Africa wanted to do snow White, but there weren't any White actors around? Are they not allowed to do it then? Making the movie was dumb, and caring about it is just as dumb.

Also Zegler has been saying some pretty offensive stuff to people, and has been clearly extremely problematic and insensitive. And what if people with dwarfism want roles in movies? guess they aren't allowed to do that then, make all the roles that they could have starred in with CGI characters. Just saying there are more issues there than them changing the race of a character.
What we really need at this time is a story where a black girl is the snow white, the prince is a transexual man with penis and breasts and at the story ends with the snow white and prince and the "witch" having a unltrasexual threesome so the spell is broken via a threesome and they live happily ever after. In the middle of the story we get an orgy between the snow white and the magical creatures with a lot and lots of semen. This is what the modern era demands and this is how the story must be reimagined so it fits in with the needs of the modern era.

I don't believe he would sign off on every decision made about the movie. He's a CEO, he's also managing Disney's interests outside of film so I doubt he has the time to sign off on every decision made. He may be responsible by signing off on who got hired, but he's also taking steps to rectify that and fire people. Maybe he knew beforehand, but there's also a possibility he didn't know every little detail and once he got wind of it, started firing people.

I’ve seen a lot of people blame Zegler’s PR team, but some people are super stubborn and refuse to listen to their publicists and PR teams. I’m saying this as someone who works in PR. Sometimes, it’s the fault of the client and not their team.

Considering that Snow White is technically a story about inner beauty, and a moral about vanity, logically it doesn't matter about the ethnicity of Snow White - although it is still pretty stupid. The problem is that you will still require an actress who can project the purity and innocence of Snow White, not as some kind of warrior princess, which Zegler fails to do in the trailer and isn't doing much for it in her promotions either.
We already have that movie, it's called Snow White and the Huntsman. Might have been good if they had someone other than Kirsten (I always look like I've just finished crying) Stewart in the lead role.

They could have at least given her decent make up. She is not ugly but she looks so bland and ordinary, not at all like a princess.. On the other hand, Gal's makeup is so good
The last person on Iger's list should be himself. He allowed this losing strategy across the entire company and he should see himself out the door after cleaning house.
They've sunk actual tons of money into this movie but they sincerely need to take the loss, recast and reshoot the movie. Gal is okay I guess as the Evil Queen but Snow White is just bad casting. Beyond simply not having skin as White as Snow which as a Casting Director would have been my first criteria, the lady has zero respect for the source material. And for the math people, a $100 bill is approx a gram. It takes 454 of them to equal a pound which comes to $98 million per ton. So its over 2 tons of money in $100 bills they've sunk into the future flop. I genuinely hope someone there reads this and simply abandoned the movie, recast and rewrites it. It's going to be horrible.
