I picked up a bottle of the Joseph Magnus Murray Hill Club a couple weeks ago. Paid a little over 120 for it. A damn good bottle. Definitely worth the price. It’s a buy if you come across one.
Is it good yes is it overpriced yes. But that is the way this industry is headed. For those that can afford it great but those of us that won't I believe it will start to hurt them. Not as a industry but these individual blending brands I've seen JM sitting on shelves it took over a month for a drop of Murray Hill to finally sell at my local store. But again its a personal choice as to what one is willing to pay. Enjoy!!
I see you a Dalmore fan :). I've tried the middle box iirc (dark brown box). Are you inito peated Islay scotches like Ardbeg, Lagavulin, etc.? I'm waiting for my plug to get a Signatory Edradour 2011 ed., nice sherry bomb.
