About a month ago, Ben purchased a KX65 that was in pretty rough shape. The motor seemed good, but cosmetically... the bike needed some help. So he ripped the entire thing down to the motor, cleaned everything, painted the frame and swingarm, and gave it some extra goodies to really make it come together! Not to mention, Dan's arm is feeling a lot better so what better way to celebrate the build being done by rippin some 65's around the circle track!

Im thinkn bout one of these for a pit bike, over a 4stroke. Any issues you reckon?? Im 170lb, will it suck out of turns, climbs etc, ie torqueless down low? Thnx

Im 210 pounds and the thing pulls me like im not there. Just gotta keep it wound out/ do a little clutch work to keep the high idle. But you'll love it. They are fast and super fun. Goodluck!!

Are the 65’s hard to start? Every video I’ve watched where someone is starting one their kicking for days before it fires...
@mx978boyz
@mx978boyz 3 года назад
No they arent usually hard to start. We hadnt rode that one in a little while and then it got flooded. Normally should be like 2-5 kicks

Both bikes have aftermarket factory connection fork and rear shock springs. Cranked up as stiff as they will go.

I’m 5’9 165lbs. Would you recommend this bike? Looking for something that won’t cost a lot but will pull.

@mx978boyz 2 года назад
Yes it is a very good bike for going quick. Has good suspension and parts are cheap and available

Damn, I watch that video again and again because I'm not sure if I sell my klx110 for a 65 ripper 🥴

@mx978boyz Год назад
It's a tough call for sure! Very different bikes
@bays1796
@bays1796 Год назад
@@mx978boyz yeah. I'm a twostroke guy, that's why I think about it. And the kx is cheaper if you need parts, especially when you live in Germany. Aftermarketparts are expensive as hell for the klx.
@mx978boyz
@mx978boyz Год назад
So the one thing I would say is if you want to compete in local pitbike races (not sure if they happen in your area or not) the people that run those often don't have a 2 stroke class. It's just something to think about. Check out our newer video of us riding on the ice to see the speed difference between kx65 and crf110 for an idea! But overall, both are great bikes. Just 2 different monsters!
