I never said this on here but I’ve always loved your mom J! She seems like the type of mother everyone would hope to have and the type of mom who cares about her kids friends/partners like their her own. Your mom has always looked young and I hope she feels her best everyday cause she is beautiful! I know that feeling of just moving to a different state and going the longest time without seeing your mom and at first mine was like 4 or 5 months not even a year but when you’re used to seeing your mom everyday it feels like forever and I definitely cried when I went the longest time without seeing my mom and then she surprised me in LA and I was going through heavy mental health shi during the pandemic
J cooks fam is so sweet you can tell how much they love him. The way his sister and mom said they missed him and glad to see him, idk the energy they give is they worried about him and the relationship he’s in. It’s like they want to save him from the train wreck that’s coming in the future. But they know he’s grown and have to just let it happen and let him learn on his own. Justice has such a big heart. He loves celys even though she doesn’t treat him well.

My brother is in his 40s and has 2 kids but lives in a different country and my mum still reacts like yours when she sees him. (Usually once every three months). No matter how old you get, you’ll always be her babies, it’s just the rules hahaha

His mom seems to be the mediator in drama/situations and she loves justice and supports him so much - she still supports and likes photos of baby Londyn and her mommy, that shows how much of a good heart she has so I can’t imagine her and Celys having any issues. Maybe it was meant towards his sister and brother? I can definitely see that lol, they don’t seem easy to get along with like justice and his parents.
A relationship shouldn’t make you feel suffocated and in jail. I don’t like how she wants to dictate when he drinks and if he can hang with his friends or not and go out. You are gonna make him go insane that way. You have to trust more. You can’t live your whole life together being that possessive it gets old after awhile. Advice to both of you
