Some people might want to see the longer versions of these playthroughs unedited. If only there was some way to broadcast content to viewers for a couple hours.
Hey Eck, you gotta change the difficulty after loading the map, otherwise it will be set to captain (default). The last patch allowed the mod devs to change it so the menu difficulty selection works but that change is only comming in the next update. So don't forget to change it in the game options.
I love watching Eck play. He's so aggressive in a non-territorial way. He'll just fight to take out enemy fleets and then worry about taking the planets later. It's fun to watch since whenever I play I'm much slower and turtly. RIP the rogues tho
About time! This is what got me into your channel in the first place. I liked watching you play, and listening to all the lore you added in to give even more info. I'm Glad to see you going back into this. I don't care how long or short you make the videos, ill watch them all.😊
i really missed these videos from eck hes the reason I bought my first computer years ago because he started playing this game so it caused me to want to play it so i eventually got a job (first one at the time) just so i could finally play it myself and now im just filled with nostalgia right now
Finally!!! Eck! Your campaigns are my favorite to watch out of all the EAW players. You are just the most entertaining when something goes right or goes wrong.

I love that you play EAW again. What I personally would like to see are a long playthrough with the single planet start conquering everything as one of the minor/Warlord factions and the historical and regional conflicts, because they are shorter but very interesting. I personally enjoy the historical run as Daala even though it is not easy to win it. It´s kind of short, but requires some tactical and strategic finesse or you will losse horribly.
Due to how hardpoints work ISDs are overkill for most ships. Basically they fire their whole volley at one hardpoint and waste most of their damage. A victory is better because usually it does just enough damage. Another victory can target another hardpoint.
Those Vengeance Dreadnaughts are heavily underrated and insanely OP. I don’t remember if it’s in TR or another Star Wars mod that they don’t get shields unless you recruit a Sith Lord from Korriban and make him the fleet admiral. The Sith Lord imbues the Vengeance with the Dark Side, giving it a shield.
I would love a new campaign that I can watch (weekly updates or streams) as your channel is the main reason I got into this game. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to play much anymore, but i still love watching the gameplay!!
Persistent damage for executor class. Played as a empire in one of the campaigns... had to spend credits to repair my SSD bit by bit after a major engagement left it near death. Great feature that added another layer. Had to fight one battle with it at 50% health from the start as only partially repaired.
Would be interesting if eaw gets another patch where the factions could possibly form alliances. Eg all the empire factions could in theory join back up
i wish there would have been a sequel to this with mod tools. would be nice to have to refit men and ships after battles, maybe have battle history for units, being able to rename units, better generals and admirals and battle damage on ships. still, this is one of the greatest games of all time

I highly recommend Awakening of the Rebellion Mod, it was recently updated and the detail in that game is amazing and provides a good challenge. I like Thrawn's Revenge, but I know almost nothing about post Civil War lore except some general things so I always feel completely lost in it.
