Can you breed wild siskin in cages and how long does it take

Did you trim the feathers around the norwich's cloaca? That should make it easier for the goldfinch cock to fertilize the eggs. So far a good result, at least apart from the disappointments of course. But that's the life of a bird keeper and breeder.
