I have the same desk, just as something fun, you can pop off the husky logo and put one of your own with a little 3d Printing magic, I have the dimensions if you want them

Thank you for this video. Where has this been??? I have the exact same Husky work table as pictured here. After extensive searching, I finally made my own laptop shelf out of mdf and drywall screws. I absolutely would have purchased two of these, and I still may. My desk moves around a lot, so I hide the laptop shelf on the back of the desk. I made my own, because most trays were too tall, taking space where I would usualy put my feet up. This tray is perfect for my application.

This was my third attempt at solving this problem. Everything else is just too cheap and not durable enough. I like it and it’s short enough to not impact my chair if I seivel

This is the first video I've seen on your channel, I wasn't sure what those little spacers were called so I looked on Amazon and they're called nylon spacers and of course Amazon has a ton of them.

how does this work? if the laptop is shut? how does the monitor work?

If the lid is closed then the monitor behaves like a typical monitor would would any computer is plugged into it.

It's definitely expensive. I think the price is so high because it's a low demand product, it's made by Americans so they probably pay their workers minimum wage and other benefits, they have an actual design team so more pay there, and then probably lots of other built in costs, like buying steel, tools, shipping costs, etc etc. If I were in the EU I would not buy it.

You have computers, tools etc... But none 3D printer? You should get that customized. It looks awful and takes space close to your knees, hands and more.
