Chechi, since we brwn girls love to get foundations of many shades, i think i can give u a recommendation . Recently i tried a foundation from a new Indian brand called type beauty which had about 24 shades. The consistency is like serum and skin feels fresh throughout the day. They have like foundations especially for dry, oil acne prone and matured skin types based on the skincare ingredients. Can u review them coz I loved it❤ I worn it throughout a day in this humid kochi and it lasted really well.
Hi Jovi...Long time follower (nearing a decade), first time poster. I remember in the past you were prioritising cruelty free brands. I would really appreciate if you could do a specific video dedicated to cruelty free brands and the best products from them. I am consciously only buying cruelty free products, so it would be really handy to have a video focussed on that. Thanks so much for all your awesome content. Love to see you thriving.
Hii Jovi.. Loving the video quality lately.. Keep up whatever you are doing and its great to see u constantly upping your game.. Also your hair looks amazingg!!!
Omg such an awesome video i think one that could resemble mac and smashbox skin tint is elf halo glow the look the coverage n price n quality its a gem of a product n also has a wide range its the best launch we have had all year and chambor n faces skin tint is like the nyx drop foundation so light weight full coverage i go back it to every time i have emptied 2 whole bottles of it !! Love ur content n also ur friendship with Shweta is adorable !!!
Unfortunately, the Smashbox halo tint in medium tan dark was a touch too light for me. Even more unfortunate, is that it's the deepest shade they had in stock on shoppers stop and Nykaa. I might need to travel out of India for a deeper, neutral shade.
@@MrJovitageorge yes true. Not fond of their foundation but this might work for some. This skin tint was very light and smooth. Haven't purchased yet but definitely in the bucket list now.
Hey Jovi.. Can you check the MAC studio radiance face and body radiant sheer foundation in shade C7. I m not a person of much makeup and its not full coverage, but this foundation is something and I haven't heard much about it among Desi girls especially with the shade range. Such adoration for all your work and effort. 🥰
So fresh look, but it's highly expensive, I wish I have not buy foundation (loreal) ,pls do video on hair serum pilgrim Vs wishcare hair growth serum.please,
Hi jovi!❤ love the video.. i have a doubt. Could you tell me the difference between skin tints with spf and actual sunscreen with tint.. which would be my best option for daily wear as sunscreen?
Jovita ji have you tried la girl tinted foundation. I have heard really good reviews for this one though it’s little expensive than the drugstore ones but less costly than smashbox ones.
Hi jovi really love your review and effort you put in …. I have similar skin tone so most of products in my makeup box are your recommendation😊. Could do a vedios on hair serum please.
Loved the video. I would rather spend my money on the more costly option than risk it on curdled blue heaven. Can take the temporary hit on wallet for one bottle of skin tint but can’t take the months of fixing any flare ups on my face thanks to cheap make up😂
Wow. I had the exact same experience with the Maybelline tint. It worked ok halfway and then the consistency changed and it began to give me breakouts. Not repurchasing for sure.
Hi I like your videos and recommendations very much . I am eyeing on your pac limited edition brushes on nykaa for a long time as I would like to repurchase it but it's out of stock for such a long long time . Wil it be available again ?
I don't think skin tint can help me. I have to use two different concealor n foundation after using colour corrector. Because it's darker around the mouth n forehead n dark circles n the cheeks are lighter
@@MrJovitageorge i am thinking of the Rimmel one since you said it's suitable for oily skin 🩷 thank you for such a helpful video Jovi. Lots of wishes ✨
Thank you. Very useful. I havent tried anything else afyer using lakme absolute mousse. I am very outdated i guess. I am happy with it but would like to try something new.
This was the need of the hour for me😘😘😘 Also Jovi I have couple of weddings to attend this season and before that I am going to Dubai, so wanted to pick up some makeup from there... Could you please help me with that I am looking for something that photographs well , feels skin like light weight and easy to blend. I am confused bw rare beauty and Fenty, plzzz.suggest na. I belong to dry skin family so dewy finish. 😊😊
It feels very greasy... Specially after applying moisturizer and sunscreen... It also has a kind of chemical smell... But the texture is pretty good and spread easily..
I agree, the smell is very cheap makeup like. Also after using Maybelline foundation, I only like that kind of finish and texture. The Mars bb cream felt a bit chipchipa to me, and I have to apply a powder. But so far all the affordable bb creams I used, tend to be like that only. Nevertheless, it works. I bought the shade medium which looked dark but blended quite nicely.
Also, Maybelline tint is horrible, I found it too dry, poor shade range , i absolutely love the SMASHBOX and Rimmel one, also the MARS cosmetics bb cream is very good in affordable category
I agree that maybelline has a terrible shade range specially for medium to tan skin tones. since it was affordable I bought 2 shades - no 1 & 3 and when I mix both together, it's my skin but better. I hated it at first but eventually found a way to make it work (as I don't like wasting products) When I applied with fingers it got settled in my pores and was dry and patchy (also I didn't use primer so that can be a reason) When I used foundation brush it looked so much better. The way it works for me is that I apply it with a foundation brush and then set it with a makeup fixer. It stayed for 14 hours, and nobody could guess that I've applied makeup on my face. So now I like it
@@priyankakaul I did not apply any primer underneath, but my point is I don't want to layer up that is the reason I am going for a tint, for me it's specifically for those days when I just wear a sunscreen underneath and the tint. If I have to layer so much I might as well go for a foundation. So my purpose was defeated. Also it has some minute shimmer particles and it feels gritty, I have dry combination skin, with proper skincare my skin does good. But with this, it made my skin dryer and ashy. Clearly I did not like it. If anyone facing similar issues and on a budget, can go for the Mars BB cream, esle smashbox, Rimmel and MAC are my top picks. And u definitely won't regret.
@Momi304 Thanks for the recommendations. I will definitely try Mars or Smashbox once i finish these Maybelline ones. Maybelline one works without primer for me if I blend with a foundation brush instead of fingers.
@Momi304 Also, my skin type is like really strange - in winter it gets combination to oily and in summer it gets combination to dry - isnt it supposed to be the other way round. Now in monsoon it's just normal combination skin.
