@@xythiera7255I got my batch 2 mouse and it's perfect I think the quality thing was just a batch 1 problem price to performance it might not be the choice but I think the ulx or wL mouse are the best on the market for fingertip or claw
got my ulx last week, have 0 problem you mentioned. the shell is rock solid, M1M2 both perfect. wheel is dead centered. No need for DPI button i dont know what kinda player changes DPI all the time..... i can do a video if any one wanna see what mine feels like
This is a great short video! Really co work. I think all the potential negatives that you shared are positives for me in my perspective 😊 thank you for creating and sharing!
Its made of carbon fiber combosit you have to actul read . Its plastic with carbon fibers in it not out of carbon fiber that woudnt never be happening for that price
I suppose as long as they include a hard case, that's not much larger than the mouse itself, then that should rule out travel damage issues. I don't think it's necessary to address rage gamers lol. But I mean hey, if there's a market out there for it.. @@isMiIes
@@ocdan8974 Supposedly it is a carbon fiber _composite._ That means that it is a resin mixed with carbon fiber for structural reinforcement. Carbon fiber composites are usually closer to 50% resin and 50% carbon fiber so that the end product is still relatively sturdy. But based on the flex that we're seeing in this Short, I imagine that the Ultralight X is something like 90% resin and only 10% carbon fiber... =(
@@imbatts well that’s just dumb, I swap dpi for different games. Why would I want to go into the software each time? Do rich people never swap dpi lol?
That's going to get gunked up with finger oil and it's going to die. Who the _actual_ fuck thought "open-concept mouse" was a good idea. You use gloves with that thing.
I don't understand how much confidence some people can have in stating opinions on things they have no clue about. Mice with holes have been a legitimate thing for 5 years now and it's still a very successful concept. It's just preference whether you like it or don't. I have to admit that I personally prefer the mouse not having any holes but there is no objectively bad thing about it and it's really just a myth that an open shell causes technical issues. The goal of the Ultralight X was to create the lightest full-shell mouse (there are specific finger tip mice that are like half of the volume) and it having holes is simply out of question. The Ultralight X indeed has controversy surrounding it and so many things to critizise about it and you choose to critizise the holes?...
@zovertoven4747 Yes. Most PCBs are automatically coated with this for anything high mileage including many boards for keyboards and mice, even mice with no holes in them because it's just better overall long term protection. Just don't fucking eat at your desk like a fucking slob and you'll be fine.
They say the lighter the mouse is, the less force it takes to move it, which gives you more control. For example, micro adjustments are easier due to less force needed, so you have more control. In my opinion, as long as you like the shape, the lighter you can get it the better. The lightest I've tried is 45g with the sl12 small.
Lighter weight equals potentially(!) better aim. Either revisit middle school physics class or look up stuff on the topic "inertia". The lighter something is, the less force you need to apply to move it but also less stopping power is required to stop the object from moving. This causes your aim to feel more responsive and have effectively less mechanical latency since you have to apply less force to move your mouse. The less weight you have in your hand the more natural and uninfluenced your hand movement is.
If you arnt good enoth to us it it doesnt matter what mouse you have but yea for the prices its quit a big ask right now with FM QC and drop bs but overall a premium mouse for peopl that perform in games not your aver silver andy
