Hey Ashleigh! I’m in my first year of undergrad as well and it’s been stressful to say the least. I’ve cried a lot but have also found comfort in knowing that I’m not the only one struggling. Hope you’re doing okay, PLEASE take time to applaud yourself for the amount of effort and dedication you’ve put into school, I know I have a hard time doing that sometimes. 🫶🏻💓

Would you want to return home for a couple years and get your general education done at a community college? Then transfer to a college to do your upper education for a major? You just seem so stressed and all over the place. Sometimes the full college experience isn’t for everyone. Maybe a more comfortable situation, a home / city that you’re used to, family nearby, etc. is what you need.. Definitely take a look at what you need-you have at least three more years of this. You should be enjoying it, not stressing out every day.

Girl this reminds me of when I had a breakdown as a freshman at my college 😭😭 I failed an exam and cried in the university student center bathroom. Trust me it does get better I promise!!! You are slaying queen and you’re an inspiration to all. I graduated in 2021, and to everyone still in college; you can do it!❤️

hey ashleigh! i struggle a lot with stress and my anxiety gets really bad. i know it's hard to avoid caffeine during finals but it helps with my anxiety a lot. i know it's different for everyone but not having caffeine calms my anxiety and helps with being able to sleep a little more at night.
