If memory serves the standard affair is add reverb, noise cancel any residuals and put the bad boy through a compressor for a much cleaner sound in an ideal DB range. You actually add the reverb at the end when you have the cleanest sound.
I wasn't paying attention to the vocaloid Tsunami, just thinking "huh, Finana sounded different here". Wow, I underestimated what vocaloid tuners can do, that was good.
vocaloids have been around since like 2010 i think (at least the first ones) that is almost a decade longer then vtubers have been around. (the surge started in 2016 but only majorly picked up 2019) that is a decade to perfect vocaloid tuning. If you are famous for making songs with vocaloid then you know the guy is cracked
@@lulu111_the_cool found it, 2007 was the conception of Vocaloid 2 which was when hatsune miku was created but if i'm not wrong, it was only 2010 or 2011(when vocalod 3 was made) that it really took off world wide. until then it was limited to japan and german (who were the original makers)
Finana is right - I love the original version of Tsunami but this vocaloid version is also such a bliss, I think I'll play that on repeat for a while now

Not sure if she even counts as one of them (I haven't really been up to date), the English is so smooth, I remember IA's voice to have a wide range and pretty smooth when singing in English as well. EDIT: Looking at KIRA's discography at the wikia, it might be RUBY, idk gotta wait for confirmation
it's Synth V's Saki AI, that's why it has smooth English. (plus KIRA's tuning) I personally think that Solaria is more on the sharper voice. Saki's nasally tone is quite distinct whenever she's singing in JP or EN.

Ok... I LOVE _Tsunami_ , but I have no way of saying this without sounding harsh: I agree with Feesh about releasing the vocaloid version. Only because I can understand what's being said in the verses VERY clearly. Finana's IMO is slightly harder to decipher at times. Maybe it's the mixing or maybe it's the vocal effects.

When they 3 singing together, Finana's voice usually hard to hear because Pomu's voice and Elira's voice are too dominant. Glad I watch this, I can enjoy listening to her singing voice more 💖
I swear at least once the vocaloid said Toonami instead of Tsunami. Finnana's version was better and honestly I think she was autotuned more than she needed to be.
Feesh came a long way ever since her debut. Let's be honest, her singing wasn't the best in the beginning. But damn, she improved a lot. It's hard to find confidense in your own singing when absolutely cracked singers like Pomu and Elira are around, but I think she managed to do that. It shows.
No offense to any fans of Finana or herself, but the vocaloid version actually sounds better and it feels like the song was written to be a vocaloid song.
All this does is even further prove to me that vocaloids are for people who are great music producers, but bad singers. I mean, the vocaloid tsunami is great and all, but are we really going to listen to it over Finana's version? I'm not, and I dont think you are either.
