Excellent discussions. I wish Ndindi Nyoro would have been looped into this forum together with Prof Njuguna Ndung'u so that we may get the clear picture. Because herein are the practical applicants who have the experience on the ground, while the government operates from one side of the T Account. I wish that the government officers and policy makers would be involved in the part two.
Bt this Convo is one sided. Nwei I believe, private vehicles are a luxury and should be taxed differently from public transportation where in Kenya it's partly privatized, the business men in transportation business should pay up taxes as business.
All vehicles pay tax at the point of purchase, when buying insurance and when you purchase fuel. Your arguement makes no sense....its like saying I should pay tax for having wifi in my house....
@@antonywambugu4903It's either you're an adult fool ama you're a beneficiary of the tax system because you're uttering nonsense. 40 percent of a car is taxes, and businesses that are in export import pay their duties as well. Saying people should pay more different taxes is nonsensical!!! If you said let's tax luxury cars then that would be ok, but they don't want to do that because they are the ones who own the majority of luxury cars
