What finance books do you think I am missing? 😁

'Misbehaving', by R. Thaler. He makes a criticism of economists and finance experts who base their models on what he calls 'econs' and do not consider the differences they have with 'real' people when applying them.

Personally, each time I venture out into a new field, I'm utterly overwhelmed by the knowledge to be gained. It's ridiculously hard for me to define a set of goals, how do you manage that? How do you enter a field, set a goal, and break it further into palatable steps? How do you distinguish between the "good" and the "bad" knowledge out there? Thanks

I search through the reading lists of university courses. MITopen courseware is good for that.

If you’re starting from the base of the economic pyramid such as a farmer or labor worker I would recommend books directly related to the front of the supply chain such “Made in America” -Sam Walton or “Today and Tomorrow” -Henry Ford. If you are already in an established managerial position looking to expand I would recommend “The Intelligent Investor” - Benjamin Graham

Abi Sizce kontrolü liberalizm uygulansa nasıl olur (Ekonomi finans hususunda)

@@baran4950 Canada is a mixed economy. It's tough to say. I think their liberalism helped get new people into the country, and helped raise GDP via real-estate growth. But those caused issues as well. Would make for an interesting book, eh? 😁😁

Abi bir şeyi merak ediyorum. İsviçre Norveç hariç Avrupaya oranla Amerika'nın refah ve Alım gücü durumu nasıldır
@IdeasInHat

America has decent purchasing power, but the euro goes further, globally. The british pound is wonderful. Inflation, however, depends on each state. In some states, Inflation is worse. I think Norway has a better welfare system and they have a higher quality of life. But America is 300 million people, after all.
