One comment to add about the Independent status, regardless of age, if you are a military veteran, you are considered independent regardless if you are married. Not sure if there are limitations on this that I don't know about, but this is something that should be considered as well in the married student calculation
You can’t process consolidation or IDR applications online. Takes digging just to find the mail in application. This entire system is broken beyond repair.
