Why didn’t you tilt the engine and pour the oil into it that way? You need something like Jeyes fluid put on it first, brushed in then jet washed off to get the marks out and more grime out.

An attachment called patio cleaner for pressure washers makes cleaning patios easier. They are universal sizes to fit most pressure washers. Its a round disc. Use it along with patio cleaning detergent. Youll find it a breeze cleaning your patio with it.

The end of the power wash jet wand has a nozzle on the end try twisting the end and the jet stream might get more powerful , when your finished used the twisting end to hive a gentler wash to rinse the floor off .. might help

Hi Rick, yes it did look a lot better. You may want to adjust the nozzle when the jet wash is on, this will give a more powerful stream to clean stubborn stains. You also need to keep the nozzle close to the tiles for maximum impact and use a methodical action on each tile. Dare say it hasn't been cleaned for a while so may need a couple of cleans. Builders use ordinary powder for the washing machine. I use it for my brick patio. I mix it with boiling water and brush it on, then leave it on for a few hours. Then I hose it off. You can buy products like "Black Spot and Algae Remover" and "Grimex" Power washers will remove surface dirt only, it will not remove stains. Your patio seems to be stained.

@@RickandShelley it reminds me of my own recent oil adventures. Bought a new mower put it together then went to mow..it didn’t have a self propelled motor. I ordered the wrong one. Had to spend the next day cleaning it and removing every drop of oil to be returned. Ha.

Hi Rick. Use a different attachment on the lance it's a big round one you can buy it better for patios it cleans a bigger area and it's quicker and easier hope that helps all the best of luck..

On catch up Rick don’t expect a call from Karcher anytime for making commercials.Our pressure washer has a rotating round brush head about 275mm diameter as an attachment for cleaning slabs etc.

Hi mate i run a professional jet wash company, you definitely need a decent jet washer mate invest in a more powerful washer youl notice the difference you shouldn't need to mop up after, once you get a powerful one on that floor your appreciate it more 👍

Rick theres master class tutorials on RU-vid it would of saved learning the hardway,thats what i did in golf learnt myself .it took years.someone told me later a few professional lessons before playing golf for the very first time is like one years practice by yourself you dont pick any bad habits up.i wish i was there with you buddy.

Any good car parts shop will have a funnel with a bendy spout, Karcher should have come with a different jet attachment to the one you are using, use the other one, also you need some detergent sprayed on first, Karcher also do A T racer attachment which is a spinning jet under a circular brush, ideal for that job

I always avoid powerwashing. A bucket of diluted bleach and a light brush before bed. Might need repeated but much easier and far less messy. Well done on getting everything working tho.

Hi Rick May I suggest that you need a deckscruber or a wire brush.Scrub each tile individuality. It takes time to achieve the finish your looking for. You need to go tile by tile.Also a detergent is required.Depending on the stains,I would use bleach as in Domestos.Powerwashing will be fine to maintain when its done.A deep clean is required to begin with.Tile by Tile Rick.

Hi Rick, these Cola and Tonic bottles with that tab thing on the cap are a nuisance , hate them , i think 🤔 some of the stuff we buy are made with people with small hands , if the driveway was a chipped that might make a difference with all that sand dust everywhere, mind you it would take quite a few tons to do that I suppose , it’s one of these tasks I hate but it’s got to be done, you’ve done a lot since u moved in, Stunning Plant you got there in background. Advice.....before I wash my patios aera with power hose. You have to put down patio cleaner buy in hardware. Lifts the dirt. Looking good rick. We'll done. Buy new shorts as well.😂😂😂😂😂😂

Rick I'm no rocket scientist but you could of bought a smaller funnel,roll up plastic like you would do with a newspaper before starting a 1970s coal fire,or pour oil into a baking measurement jug,to make it easy put machine on its side.but my biggest annoyance was you pouring the coke down the sink.I'm sure you can buy plug in jet washers for £40.cheaper non brand. But then again, you have power issues on the grid or off grid.all good fun.you wait, rick, there'll be a calima tomorrow. Lol..

I have used jet washers for years and the type of nozzle you are using isn't very powerful, not much more than a spray attachment on the end of a normal hose with good UK water pressure. You need a rotating point jet attachment called a dirt blaster. These replace the end of the existing cleaner wand and put out a very thin jet which spins and removes stains and ground in dirt much more efficiently. The difference is like chalk and cheese. Look on you tube for Karcher rotating point jet demo and you will see how well these work. I have found the rotating brush attachments don't work very well so don't waste money on one of those

You need more power almost enough to blow the pubes off,two man job you want a sweeper.i only jetwash to get rid of stained in grime,mossy,slippy bits its a once a year job not an obsession. Ideally it could do with a slope use a detergent or jeyes cleaner.
