The township of Fitch Hatton is the gateway to the Eungella National Park and Broken River which is a perfect place to see platypus in their natural habitat. If you visit at the right time of the year you can also see the sugar cane trains being loaded and the cane taken off to the sugar mill at Marian.

Thanks, I’m glad you are enjoying them. My aim is to show what there is to see and do in small towns in Aus. I think we sometimes have a tendency to travel through thinking there is nothing to see, but sometimes we can be pleasantly surprised.
