Just built one up this weekend. Its amazing how this bike rides. Its planted, poppy af, ready to go down anything and climb up just as easy. I feel like this bike can almost handle any trail out there.🤘🤘🤘🤘 never rode a bike with this short of travel that wants to shred so hard.
Between :27 and :28 you can see the rim and tire flex with the force Bryn is putting on that bike.....that's a good rim and excellent rider. Got my vote!
I know it doesn't matter to anybody, but I want to see the rest of the slo mo when Bryn is slapping those S turns so I can watch that big 29" wheel shake like all hell. But guess they cut that part because people would go all over the cliff and try to say the frame or the hub or the wheel weren't rigid enough
First of all, this is so so good. I've watched it multiple times. So so good. I do now want a 2020 Optic... What I am wondering is, why is Bryn's Optic decked out with Fox suspension, when all 2020 models are sporting Rockshox? Is Bryn a Fox Brand guy, tided to Fox? Is Bryn riding the prototype and just used his favourite sus setup? Regardless, I'm hearing great things about the new Pike and Super Deluxe and stoked to demo/possibly own one of these. Your marketing team is on point. Great vid. Bryn is a serious inspiration to watch.
Bryn is all style. Such a great great rider. But for the rest of us unsponsored weekend warriors aspiring to rail berms with cutties and counter-steering, the rear wheel flex at 0:28 is evidence how hard this style of riding is on the bike.

Amazing!... I just bought a 2019 Norco Optic A1 Alloy... because I couldn't quite afford these new 2020 carbon ones... can anyone tell me why I can't find a single video or review of this particular model anywhere on the "World Wide Web"... have I got the only one ever made? LOL
Seriously I was more interested in the bike before I saw this video. I would like to order the camera that was used for the video. The slow motions are great. Also I like the profile of the tires a lot. I don't really see the bike. Is this the norco optic? Really? Is it available in black? What? Maybe it's a trek. The trek trail bike is available in black
Hey James, Bryn has unique sponsors for all his components, so this build is not available to public from stock. We do have a frame only option, however, if you wanted to go the custom spec route. Otherwise, we have 4 categories of this bike that should meet the needs of a lot of riders. Cheers!
Norco Bicycles thanks for the reply! Next question - will the C1 come on anything other than the purple colour? I’m seriously considering this bike but I’m sorry to say I much prefer the black/stealth look featured in this clip.
@@wayne_kurr The 2020 C1 is only available in purple. Check out your local dealer and see it in person before you make your mind up on the colour, it looks more rad in person!
Norco Bicycles maybe it does, but I don’t want a purple bike. I fear you guys may lose some sales, hopefully you can offer a stealth black frame like in this video next.. that would be sweet!
Norco Bicycles one more question! Do you have the size/specs etc of the fox 36 used by Bryn here? Thinking of building my own one! Even more excited after reading some of the reviews.
With how fast people are getting on Enduro/trail bikes I'm thinking it might be time to start wearing full face helmets 😂 these guys are going DH speeds nowadays
