Thanks for the feedback- and thanks for watching! And just so you know- the GoPro makes all the fish look smaller, too… and changes the numbers on the net, haha!
Thanks! Even though I feel these mountain fish are less picky (more desperate), sometimes even swapping light/dark doesn’t cut it. But once I figure what general tone they’re going for, I’ll stick within that range for the session. I’ve been diving into bugs more this year- and how temps, weather, and time of day matter, which might inspire me to change things up next season. Take care!
Thanks for the great comment! I’ve got a couple more ‘be the fish’ style videos coming. I just need to stop fishing and actually edit some vids!! The water is just starting to get really good. 🎣
Hey- thanks for asking! Nothing attached to the line for a sighter. But it is two-toned. Starts out orange and then the last few feet toward the fly are black. I like it for nymphing because it kind of helps me gauge depth a little. @@gokofly thanks I use a 3.5 orange fluorocarbon level line but can be very hard to see at times. I can clearly see your line which can mean fewer missed hook sets.
