Paul was pretty much a kid in the candy store when he got an email seeing if he was interested in this 1955 Chevy Belair that's been parked for almost 30 years! Will it run and drive home? Check it out!

I love that Paul was a construction guy with a good heart that liked to off road and derby, and then he stumbled into living my real life dream. God, I love this channel so much! 🤘🤘
@MarshallLoveday
'American Graffiti' was a first date for me and this little gal I met at a local bar. I was 21 at the time. Next month we'll be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.
@erwinschmidt7265
Yeah Buddy - Made new buddy in 1972 out in Santa Monica doin' remod on Cousin's home. This poor carpenter Ole Harry worried about payin' his lectric bill, so seemed like kind enough sort, so I volunteered to sand half w/4 grits so he could finish while Coisin, Hubby, & me off in VW Vanagain? Got back week later to perfect job!! Looked like new home!! Ole Harry worryin' about turning 35 in couple months w/o Acting Hit known as "Kiss of Death" to career, Harry same size & build of Hubby, so Cous scrounged up 10 outfits + Carpenter outfit, and last shot was Ole Harry in pinstripe mechanics coveralls. Hubby found wrench & red grease rag! Hubby took photos for rag that had fold-out center, but not type we needed so I loaded Rollie w/12 shot roll, Cous worked on lighting, & Hubby Directed being Dude of House. Soon, we had Ole Harry, winnin' the war, bettor at track, daysailor, Naval Captain, Exec, On Safari, etc...all the way to Carpenter, with last shot a mechanic. I had told Ole Harry joke about Dirty Johnny catchin' hell from substitute Teacher, so told him to make like poppin' wrench in other hand, and imagine customer with car was Missus Prussy (From Joke!), so you're gonna give her the Highball, he looked down rollin' his eyes up w/shteatin' grin, Click/FLASH, & we had Bob Falfa the Out-0-Towner for flick 'American Graffiti' 2 weeks later. Wasn't that lucky!! Hell, I'm sorry comment is so long...but you brought it up!!!
@backyardbuilttrucks1
A few car movies were historic for the 55 chevy and 57 chevy. This will be very interesting how this car evolves.
@roadmasterz
Drum brakes; your new wake up call!
@user-fh8wq1qv3w
I think the stock engine in a 1955 was a 265 cubic inch. Great find!
@AndresK5Blazer
Nice find! Please don't go crazy on mods. Keep it classic.
@maxironpaw
Very nice find. You gonna keep it stock or do a period gasser? Mild gasser would be like 'Murican Graffiti; wild gasser would be cut out rear wheel wells, period M&H slicks, remove the front bumper and remove the front splash pan, maybe a Moon fuel tank in front of the grill, and all out would be a straight axle. And no LS. Gotta be an SBC or a 348/409 or maybe a 396. BTW, whenever resurrecting a car with points ignition always wiggle the dizzy to see if it is loose and gently hit the points with a points file to remove oxidation. And pack a 13/16" plug socket. Sheesh.
@IR-nq4qv
Wow Paul what a score. That rust free 55 deserves a full on resto or resto-mod, its got all the original bones.
@robertmarcino88
Thank you to all the guys at lab rats for trusting us at Drews Tire pros with doing the tires. I myself the young man that assisted with a couple of the tires. What a gem of a car, I couldn't believe how beautiful the interior is. Thanks again from all of us at drews, this was a treat.

My older brother had a 55 Chevy that he worshipped and took immaculate care of. You bought back many good memories by your excitement and appreciation of the ride.

Man all you car/truck enthusiast youtubers really have put the fire back under me to continue enjoying everything automotive. I lost it there for a while as it was all just work and makin a livin but somehow after watching you and Matt and cleetus and kevin smith I am starting to enjoy myself again. Better go blow the dust off the 62 fairlane and get it road worthy again.
