I love watching ur videos - I sure wish there were a set that used LaserGrbl or had LaserGrbl included with outcomes with Light burn - I watch many videos and the last few steps are....add to Light burn and. Love the videos though!!
Power and speed are very depending for different laser power. In my Ortur, i set power 75% and speed 5000. I am not satisfied with the deepness of engraving but, DPI test is good. It would be much better with lower speed but that would increase work time several times, and, i dont have a time.
Can you explain line interval. I saw on the lightburn forum that someone put theirs in Inches instead of MM. I'm wondering if I use a lens from American Photonics for the glass tube C02 laser. I should be able to get more DPI because the beam is smaller. If I keep the line interval the same is that correct or should it be adjusted?
Great video. I downloaded and loaded the Lightburn DPI text pattern. Each of the images in the test pattern have the same settings however. Is this correct? I am new and still learning the ins and outs of ImagR and Lightburn.
Are these instructions exclusive to this particular laser? How do we find the optimal DPI on a Glowforge Pro for example? We can't really set the head/bed height. This is automated. But I would like to know what DPI to enter into my images in Imag-R online when converting images.
For Some strange reason, I cannot get the rulers to cut. The file loads fine in Lightburn but does nothing when I send it to the machine. Using a Thunder 51 w/100W.
@@christianfranz2601 tested and should work. Sure you downloaded with the newest link? I changed it yesterday, probably you downloaded before the change.
The light burn template file only has one cut loaded, is that because each picture has its own preset DPI so do I just have to turn on threshold or create individual DPIs?
