Sometimes it’s not you at all! We get a heavy workload, and where I work, we have to make 80 calls a day on top of our other duties. Sometimes we just get so busy and honestly forget, or get so tied up, and will mean to come back to you, but forget. There’s just so much to do. It’s not an easy job at all.

Should your recruiter know about the work load if you ask? Some have said they don’t know and to ask during interview. Second question If you submit an application for a specific position but the recruiter keep pushing other positions while this specific position still open, what’s going on there? Third When the recruiter tells you notify me if the employer calls you for an interview. Not sure, but shouldn’t the recruiter sit up the interview date and time between the two?
1. No the recruiter most of the time doesn't know the workload / patient-nurse ratio of the unit. 2. If the recruiter is pushing other jobs, they may see many submittals of the current position you want and just wants you to have other options 3. No, the recruiter doesn't set up the interview . Most of the time the nurse manager of the unit calls unexpectedly . Keeping the recruiter in the loop will help expedite your final contract and the securement of the position if you want it
By 12/10. With the holidays coming up esp. you’ll need your profile complete, and at least 2 weeks for compliance (if it’s not a rapid assignment), and of course travel to get there etc.
Hey it depend how long your contract is and you should start looking for travel contracts 4 weeks before your contract ends as it gives you 1 week to look for a better position and then another three weeks to complete the onboarding process, as onboarding takes a lot of time
Yes, it's possible I have co workers do it. You need support of course. Maybe use some of your funds from travel nursing to pay a trusted family member to take care of your kids while gone?
Can different recruiters submit an application for you at the same hospital? A lot of recruiters are telling me I can’t have different companies submit an application for me at the same hospital
If you are being submitted to same facility by different agencies the facility might cancel your candidature and might not interview you, so it's better to know where you have been submitted so that you can. Tell the recruiter that you are not submitted their and you want to be submitted
