Just wanna say that thanks for all the videos on related rates and optimization! Can we say that all optimization problems that contains use a point to find another point can use the method of the distance formula?
A couple years late to this video, but suppose we were given a function with a MAXIMUM that we were told to find using pythagorean's theorem. Would we keep the distance formula as D^2 and not simplify to D like we do in these minimum problems? Thanks!
