these are ALL very high end jeans, no doubt they look great. And yes, you can find decent jeans at moderate prices but you don’t get what you don’t pay for.
Lauren Haas Hudson (like model 3) are on amazon for cheap. Also look at all the brands target has. Shop in the women’s section and not juniors to find the maximum amount of styles and brands. Grab 2 sizes of each style you find. Don’t look at the sixes once in the fitting room.
Wow I’m amazed by all the girls before and after. They all look amazing! I wish I can get a hold of this lady so she can give me some pointers! I’ve never been able to find that perfect pair of jeans. 😭
I went and bought all these brands this summer (except for what the petite girl was wearing). The CoH Rocket brand have pockets that sit very low, so avoid those. The Hudsons gave the best, truest fit, and the Paige Hoxtons were pretty good too (but tight). Rag and Bones jeans are good too. Bought the CoH, Hudsons and Hoxtons from Nordstrom Rack. The Rag and Bones, AG and 7 for All Mankind I found at retail shops for $20+ dollars. 7s are great too.
Try doing this for men. Men's jeans are horrible, especially for men with narrow waist and not pencil thin legs. They don't make them to fit on our bodies. That is why some men try waring women's jeans, but that solution doesn't work well either because those aren't made for our bodies either.
I’m reading the comments and I’m sadly realizing that 90% of people have no clue about how to dress their bodies. The girls looked way better after the makeover, before they looked cheap and unflattering, whereas after, they had a polished clean image. This is why I see so many poorly dressed people walking down the streets 😏 Two thumbs up for the makeover lady. 👍🏻👍🏻
Also, I know the different brands and fits of women's jeans brands pretty well so I should be able to help you out if you tell me why jeans don't fit in general for you or why a specific fit from a certain brand didn't fit you.
The after jeans were definitely more flattering on the women BUT adding stilettos just made them look old fashioned as ankle boots, sneakers or cool flats would’ve looked more modern & stylish!
Hi! Please don't forget this was originally done in 2014 and we are now in 2018/2019. In our mind, we evaluate the quality of the information received with the actual fashion instead of the one almost 5 years ago which is, in the fashion industey, like a century ago.
The first girl was pear shaped not a rectangle. She had bigger hips not thighs. Also the 2nd was the rectangle shape and didn't have "muscular" thighs. She was just skinny. She is just putting every girl in the same kind of jean.
I dont like when I buy my jeans and they are tight I want lots of growing room so I have them for longer and when they get tight I've worn them so they are stretchy it feels more comfy rather then getting jeans that hug my body
I think I would have to wear the last pair . fits well. I got a peachy bum its really annoying to find jeans that fit. I using just wear leggings , nothing ever fits properly.
I'm gonna be honest, sue definitely gave some good advice and her picks were gorgeous on the women, but her attitude wasn't . She was pointing out every girls flaws and how the jeans can hide them, but she needs to remember that you can hide fat, big things, and and muffin tops behind jeans, but you can't hide a snobby attitude.
Dark Sorry to Sue, but I 💯 agree with you. Also loved the first girls cheeky personality (and thought that when she wiggled it was adorable). The women all look lovely enough to me. She needs to stop pointing out the flaws she thinks they have.
She’s just pointing out the unflattering parts of what THE WRONG pair of jeans look like and what it should look like on your shape it was constructive not deconstructive.
I’m also very petite, like the 2nd model: under 5’, and size 23. The jeans she put on the petite model goes against the advice of every stylist I’ve ever followed. Horrible! The wide cuff and the low rise make petites look even shorter, as can too much whiskering and fading at the knee. A pair of mid-rise, full length skinnies, or other slim cuts, in a wash with minimal fading/distressing details is much more flattering to petites. She may be a stylist, but I’ve lived in this tiny body for 60 years and I’ve learned a thing or two about what’s flattering on me. And, omg, *don’t* call a very petite adult woman a “doll”! And referring to a very petite celebrity as “poor little girl” because of her stature?! How unbelievably condescending! 🙄😡 I love Cityline’s fashion segments, but I’ll never watch one with this guest again!

Big jean pockets make my big butt look even bigger 😝. I returned a pair at BR. Instead tried a few Universal Thread jeans at Target with small pockets and they fit perfectly and so cheap! Length fits really nice with short heeled booties or taller to wear with sneakers I simply fold them a teeny bit is find. Now that’s a sweet deal! 👍🏻 I’m a 5’3 fit petite.
I am petite and I have a VERY VERY defined hourglass figure with a small waist, a Kim Kardashan butt, and Bionce hips. I can't find a jean that will fit me nicely without alteration, not even those "curvy"ones. I wish designers would think about women with other body type than the "flat chest, no butt, no hips, straight torso type of body...Our body is the "ideal" female shape and we are not able to find women cloths that are designed for was...

Trying to find a great jean? Hudson......so happy with the fit. Bought them a year ago. Paid over …..let's just say I choose them over any pair of jeans in my closet.....why did I waste my money on any others??????
not a single one was in sneakers or any kind of flat shoes... They all look fine on the top part of jeans, but the bottom part...damn, they look like grandmas
I'm sorry, but I'm pair shaped, I do bell Jean's skinny jeans I do not do high water Jean's like the first girl. Why should I have to wear grandma Jean's because u say what certain shaped women should and should not wear. I don't feel it length me I like my jeans like that long and skinny. Those Jean's are a hot mess. I am a Fashion nova girl. High waist skinny. Once u get a taste of high waist jeans u will never turn back

I thought that all the makeovers were awful! Awful colours, and generally unflattering! And all those ugly shoes! No wonder this video has so many views and so few thumbs up 😏 the models were great and looked better before than after! What a let down from a normally great show!
Taking fashion advice from a woman who looks like she has a wig on and joke glasses. Those glasses can only be worn by someone young, fashionable if 25, not on age 55. Hair needs thinning and layering. Geez. A good looking woman who needs a makeover.
