This helped me so much! I'm finishing my associates of science degree before I come. This is definitely what I need. Thanks 😊 and I'm learning Korean too. Like, hardcore studying.
I’m curious about the music industry, besides being in companies that K-pop idols are under being in groups or solo artists. Curious on teaching music, be an instructor, or work the behind the scenes like as a executive assistant for companies
I been watching your videos often mikole you give good advice I been watching videos of apartments in south Korea I heard that it's very expensive up there
Mike this is so amazing... i can see this as something that will take off. i love your channel and your dimples lol.Thank you being so real and honest.
what would be the likelihood of finding work in S.Korea WITHOUT a degree? Understand degrees are highly sought in Korea after and when browsing most job listings advertised they are all listed as a bear minimum. Being an I.T worker degrees aren't really that common sadly and at the ripe old age of 29, I feel getting a degree purely with the intention to teach English in S.Korea would be a waste of time. Ideally work in my area would be significantly better but I feel I have more odds in winning the lottery than finding work in my field. Any chance of a "how much it costs to live in S.Korea"? Ie day to day expenses, how much you would expect to pay in rent, food, public transport etc. Great vids!
It’s very useful☺️ but I wanna know how to become an online translator(like listening to Korean recordings and typing them down in English) in Korea when your planning on moving can you like explain the process of what you need (visas, degrees, and if you need to be in Korea) sorry for the very long question😭😭
I am a freelance translator. The fact is, if you want to work in South Korea you have to obtain a visa. In order to obtain one, you have to either study in a Korean university or be hired by a company. Working in South Korea as a freelance as a foreigner is nearly impossible. You can try to apply for an in-house translation job at a company and see if they're up to sponsor your visa because the majority of the companies don't hire people who need visa sponsorship. Another solution is being hired by a company in your home country that is based also in South Korea and request to be relocated.
well, your video gave me finally some hope, now I can seriously work on my portfolio for the next two years so that I can get in there. thanks for the video.
I am passionate about sports! specifically baseball. I played till college but dropped out due to financial reasons. I also coach a baseball team. Just being around the sport would suffice.
Thankyou for all the important content in this video. I am a fashion designer working under Indian designer. I really wanna work in korean fashion industry or in entertainment company as stylist. I tried searching alot but there is not much info about how to get it for foreigners.... if you can include this in your next video😍 will be very helpful.
do you think it would be easy to find a job in South Korea as a chemist? I'm really interested in the cosmetics industry but I'm not sure if it'll be possible for me to find a job in that field, especially in SK!
I'm torn between moving to Japan and South Korea. A few years ago I had my heart set on Japan. But the more I learn about South Korea, I question if Japan is right for me. 🤔
Thanks Mike for your video. Has some good info in it. I plan to move to South Korea early next year. And plan to study Korean language hopefully for 2 semesters ( I already started learning it here in 🇦🇺 Australia) I can't really do English teaching or professional type jobs, since I don't have a uni degree 😭 but I hope to get a job somehow still.. So are you able to let us know what type of jobs and how to get one that isn't uni qualified . Thanks
Happy Holidays and thanks for the video! Good info! 🤣🤣 Cough Cough Alex. There is two different business I like to start up but just waiting see how things bounce back from the pandemic.
Best video on jobs in Korea out there. My husband and I would like to start our own company in Korea when we move in 2022. He will have an F4 visa, but we are still trying to figure out what kind of visa I can get as his wife. Do you have any idea what kinds of visa spouses usually get? My husband is an adopko so thats why he can get an F4 visa.
just watched this and still trying to figure one thing out. i've heard a mixture of things when it comes to content creators (specifically those who do youtube) and that is that immigration has been trying to crack down on youtubers considering technically you are working without a visa, but also technically you're not taking from the korean economy if it's all being deposited into your home country's bank then you transfer and convert it to spend in korea. would you say it's probably safer for those doing such a thing to try and sign with some sort of entertainment company that will sponsor an e-6 visa? also thank you, as always, for creating such a great video that was extremely helpful! ^^
please make a video on factory worker job helper jobs requirement, Minumum salary, all steps how to apply from India does and don ts for interview. skills in high demand example 3 d printing, CNC programmer, web designer, android programmers.
Hey there, I'm a kindergarden teacher, I'm not a native English speaker but I believe I'm fluent enough, also I'm learning Korean these past few months.( I also have a degree in German too, maybe it's irrelevant). Do I have any chance in finding a job in S. Korea?
So, makes sense to be in SK when job hunting. Can you job hunt on vacation? Or you must have potential sponsorship and/or VISA in place? Are the places in SK that help you create your CV?
How hard is it to find animal care jobs? I’m currently a veterinary assistant. Or how about health care jobs? My sister and I are planning on moving out to S Korea in the spring of 2022! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Short and to the point! Nice video! Can I ask, say like I go to korea as an english teacher but wish to work in the entertainment industry what visa would I apply for?
I just found the response that no one talk about only Korean hummmm...... for nurses, accounting , ex... you need the e-5 visa who's easier to have then try find a jobe , and stay for 1 year you'll have the time to review your visa cause your visa have a 13 month validity and if you have a u.s passport you'll have plus 90 days free ;) ( cause 7.s passport don't need the visa to go to korea for 90 days maximum ) and so you review your visa and go for the F visa with the validity that you worked and lived 1 year in korea with the taxes ex... and that's it , congratulations, you're a full korean citizen "enjoy" 😊
I'm a nurse in Belgium, but I don't have a clue tho of how I can get a job in a hospital in South-Korea... I can't find any information on that topic...
Hello Mike, would you mind if I ask you What is the process of making a resume Is it written in eng. or in hangul???? I hope you answer this or make another video about this😁👍
