The B.C. pilot project, which decriminalized hard drugs in public, was at the centre of another debate in the House of Commons on Thursday.
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre continued to speak out against the program, calling it a "disaster." He also asked Prime Minister Trudeau about plans for similar projects in cities across the country.
CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses the debate with Debra Bailey, an advocate for the group "Moms Stop The Harm," a network of families affected by substance use harms and deaths. Bailey lost her daughter, Ola, to an overdose in 2015.
