by the sounds of the end of this episode, our mage friend is not ok... can't wait for part 3! This audio was done beautifully. I've never seen the script, so I have no idea how this will go. But I bet next episode either will be him waking up under some form of guard from creature or will be a time skip to a much better, yet still vastly underprepared 2nd expedition trip.

When I made the audio I didn't realize how much it was just a manticore with a crocodile hide so yeah. But I'm gonna try to differentiate it a bit in the future, maybe.
