Join me as I teach you my best pro tips and tricks on how to photograph shorebirds. We'll do this on location in Eastern Canada while we explore the beach for shorebirds and I'll show you how to take not only more artistic photos, but how to take them ethically. In this video, I want to highlight the incredible work of Birds Canada volunteers in protecting nesting birds, as well as show photographers how to improve their practices and demonstrate how to photograph birds with the least amount of impact possible, keeping the interests of the birds first. For example, all videography and photography in this video was shot at 700mm focal length and usually cropped, so I'm not as close as I appear.
