I lived without a mom and wouldn’t wish is on anyone, especially any girl. However, Mary became my mother. She taught me about womanhood, and how to forgive and love my own mom so that our relationship could be restored and grow into something…. neither of us ever could have imagined. The Lord never leaves us alone. She is right, being motherless is very challenging. Thankfully God has taken care of us in advance. 💜

I’ve been going through quite a season- the loss of my husband after a cancer journey, the sudden loss of a brother, watching an adult child struggle. I get asked all the time how I’ve been managing and the answer is always, Jesus. But after listening to Britt I feel like my journey has been a walk in the park. This hit HARD and speaks volumes as to the lengths God will go to get to our hearts

This is so extremely vulnerable and beautiful. Dear sister, this is exactly what I needed to hear today, your talk as been popping up in my recommendations for a week now. And today I was struggling to even pray because I felt like I was in control of the next few months of my life and something happened and it feels like it's all ruined - that's when I think the Holy Spirit prompted me to listen to your talk. It's been such a blessing to listen to you, you truly spoke to the control freak in me. Praise be Jesus Christ .

Thank you for sharing your testimony. As a mother of 4 who loss their eldest child at 17 to mental health issues my heart sank listening to your story. I wonder and ask God why every day in my struggle to deal with my pain and grief. I have found that in the midst of my madness God has been carrying me all along and since this acknowledgement I am gripping to God and his word like my life depends on it because it does. I am grateful that in my search for comfort I have crawled my way to God and I am finding testimony like this to encourage me and help me see the love if God l.

This was very touching. Everybody has different life situation’s. This girl was a perfectionist, wanting things her way and getting them. It reminded me of me. I am now 75 and I have had a chronic illness for quite a while. Lately as I’m getting older, I want more control. I have been struggling with letting go all the way. It is scary. I don’t have what I think I should have--to be in that situation. But if I surrender to my Lord Jesus, I know that He has a plan. It may be a plan that I do not like but yet He has a plan because He has a goal and an end point for me. It is all love and beauty. I am attached to the things of this world. It’s hard not to be. This talk has helped me think more deeply about God being in the boat. He does not stop the storms, but He stays in the boat. And when, in The Chosen last episode, Peter approached Jesus walking on the water… It was where Peter begged Jesus, >don’t leave me don’t ever leave me don’t leave Me, stay with me. And Jesus responded as they clung to each other> “ I will never leave you.” That’s the story here. And it’s hard to endure pain and heartache but it’s the way we must go to be with Jesus forever. This sure brought many tears. And the story of this lady and her children’s life is not over. Many many many things still have to happen. I am sure… But God has entered the scene so intensely that they know trust completely, no matter what. That’s a gift.

So powerful! I just read this line from "I Believe in Love," "I often tell this to the sick people whom I go to visit: 'I come to collect from you because you are rich in the supernatural order. You amass by your accepted trial a great capital of graces, first of all for yourself, but also for others. I come to see my capitalist.'" What a gift Britt's faith is!

Thank you for sharing your amazing story. I’ve always learned about total surrender and trusting God only in reading spiritual books, but hearing someone actually living it brings this to a whole new level. Without God’s grace I don’t know if anyone can go through all this while still being so at peace and still loving Him.

Why does God allow suffering? Because he loves us so much and will do anything to show us His love! We turn to Him when nothing else will work, and He is there. He was always there, but we weren't listening. Thank you, Lord, for sharing your Cross.

I just know that God wants me to hear this message because just like what the speaker said, I, too, realized that although I believe that God has always been with me... still I didn't put my full trust in Him and that I always want to have that sense of control in my life. But through this video I realized, no that's not what God wanted from me, from us. God wants to be in full control of our life and for us to put our full trust in Him. Now these verses just made a LOT more sense "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" - Proverbs 3:5-6 "Of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid?" - Psalm 27:1 That's what complete trust is. I've always wondered too how the great Saints have survived their life despite all the struggles they faced without losing faith in God and I now found the answer. It's their complete trust in the Lord. They do not rely on their own will, but God's. I still have a long way to go to fully understand that but I believe God will help me too. This video is just the start.

Walking thorough this lesson of trust now. It is so hard ..like you, I did all the ‘good things’ to please God but I never fully trusted Him. It is sometimes an hourly struggle but I believe God loves me in all my brokenness. May God bless you and your family.

It takes an amazing amount of will power to submit. It takes an extreme amount of self control to give control to another. Imagine Jesus saying not my will but thine. Knowing full well the horror that awaited but still willing to give control to another instead of running away.

Powerful testimony! seems like we're programmed to look at the storm - Jesus to sleep through it. He didn't sleep through Gethsemane, yet his disciples did. Perhaps his soul was satiated knowing that one day he would rejoin them in Galilee once the 'storm' of Golgotha was over.
