Really a great fireside for this week. I love all of the speakers but truly have a soft place my heart for Mary Ellen Edmunds. I have read or listened to all she has written or said. I live in Lexington KY and she visited our stake many years ago and I have never forgotten her genuine kindness to all.
Mary Ellen Edmunds has blessed 2 generations in my family. She and my mother were acquaintances in college and she was my sisters director when I was in the MTC. Here she blessed a third generation 😍 thank you for your challenge and storytelling.
Sister Mary Allen Edmonds, I have loved you from the first time I met you in the MTC October 1987 and I was blessed to get to hear you every week for two months while I learned French 😊 I have stolen some of your material and used it in lessons throughout the years and have listened to your CDs and read your books, thank you for your faith in the Lord, your sense of humor, and for reminding us that there is always a bright side!
Dang it, the next video started playing while I was trying to chat with this Vicki after she told a sad story, but the site moved me on and I couldn't get back in chat! But I wanted to say to this Vicki: Sorry about such a sad story about those coworkers who were killed. I hate devastation like that. I'm glad you can be thankful that your nephew survived though. I hope you can have a nice Thanksgiving.
