Once I was going to starve myself to try and rid myself of sin in honor of Jesus. That day before departing home something overtook my mouth and said "I'm ready now" it was out of my control the words. When I got to the place to starve myself a huge flock of birds flew to my feet hundreds and hundreds. I sat in a coffee shop and the weather changed dramatically. The sun got very close. A huge windstorm came. Dark clouds and then to finish it a sunshower. After sitting there all day at a coffee shop and praying around the area I realized Jesus would not condone suicide. But I believe he may have connected with me on that day. Another time after a night of partying, I had caught the wrong train to where I was meant to go. I opened my eyes after sleeping a little bit and saw a cross in the far far distance. The lyrics meet me jesus entered my brain the moment I locked eyes on the cross. A strange moment for me

I've watched this twice so far, and I can watch this over and over again. I've, too, gone into tears when Jesus was being whipped, crucified, put in the tomb, and He has risen from the dead. It is with great joy that He had done all this for us. Such love. My faith is in Him, even though I've never meant Him person. I love my Savior and my Redeemer. Finding faith in Christ is not a chore but a pleasure to me. With all my heart Jesus is the Christ, and that His Church is the true Church, and that when He comes again I shall rejoice. My prayer is through our Heavenly Father's Beloved Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

The first time he came, he was crucified. What are the plans for his second coming? Even if he comes, how will we recognise him. What will be his nationality,race, name and physical form? We have to meditate and pray from our hearts for the ability to recognise him when he is back. Who knows he might be already with us !!

gzpy, going a step further, Jesus gave us 2 more commandments were given. 1. Love God and 2. Love thy neighbor (which means everyone) as thy self. "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." I had never realized that loving myself was a commandment. I had always understood that self-love was important, but I believed the purpose of self-love was primarily to enable us to better serve others. While this is a true and important concept, self-love is also meant for us. I experienced a significant paradigm shift when I realized that God’s commandment to love and serve His children includes loving and serving ourselves-not only because self-love fills us with more love to give others, but also because He wants us to love ourselves the way He loves us. Christ’s commitment to self-love in this instance is significant-although He could have continued to serve, He recognized His personal need for solitude and “sent the multitudes away” in order to care for Himself and connect with His Father in Heaven.
